Snowed in
We had an amazing time at Adam’s cabin. Upon arrival we had a couple feet of snow in the ground. It was so beautiful and quiet! The drive was plowed as well as the front porch. Inside we were greeted to some snacks and wine! The cabin was exactly as described. Very comfortable beds, kitchen stocked with pots, pans, even spices. Over the next couple days we made a few ventures out and became aware that a winter front was going to be a good bit worse than predicted. We changed our daughter’s college appointments (we toured university of Colorado at Boulder) to earlier and stocked up well at Whole Foods in Boulder. We decided to stay put at the cabin for the remainder of our trip. The front came a little later than expected but it brought 4” more of snow in 36 hours. It was beautiful and we were warm inside the very insulated cabin. There is a smart tv, wifi, plenty of games and books to stay entertained. We used the game room a lot but unfortunately we did not utilize the sauna or hot tub. There was just too much snow. We loved watching it snow and our small dog enjoyed running and playing in it! Adam kept us up to date with the weather. We hoped the snow plows would come through our day of departure (which was when the snow finally ended). They did and Adam himself plowed us out of the driveway so we could leave. He really went above and beyond for us. We would never have been able to make this trip had it not been for our 4 wheel drive Jeep. Thank you Adam!!

Absolutely wonderful!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can't rave enough about our stay here!! Five stars!! So so sooo beautiful!!! We had the best time, hanging out in the hot tub, sauna, game room, by the fireplace. It was clean, had extras we weren't expecting like a bottle of wine, snow shoes, lanterns, snacks, espresso machine. There was a TON of snow so we weren't able to use the fire pit or the table but not at all the owner fault. They had a snow plow available and shovel for us to use so we cleared the paths just fine. Stunning view, every day, I could get used to waking up to that every day! Thank you for everything. Core memories were made here! 🤗

Spectacular holiday week
We found this place almost last minute and what a find. The property almost had too much too offer, between the hot tub, the sauna and the game room. Our only complaint is we want to come back with another family, but it only sleeps 4. The stuff they offered, most was not advertised, made our trip even more fun-ctional. From blankets for the firepit, snowshoes, to monogrammed robes for the HT and sauna. Our family (with 2 teen sons) highly recommends everything this property had to offer…which actually got them off of their phones, while enjoying game night and hot tubbing after skiing at Winter Park. Thanks!!

Best Cabin Trip EVER
After a crazy stay in the airport during Christmas, we were grateful to experience the holiday magic that led us safely to Mount Vista in spite of many travel woes. The pictures don't do the cabin and surrounding areas justice. Simply beautiful. From the coziness of the cabin, to the fireplace, to the hot tub, to the window views of snowy mountain peaks, to the plentiful amount of wood available to the rapid communication from the owner...all of it was appreciated. Manuals and directions were super helpful as well. Only complaint is there being dog hair found throughout the cabin that ended up stirring up some allergy issues with a guest (and at the very least hair that wouldn't get off our clothes). In spite of that...5 star experience!! Would highly recommend to any friend.

Just Perfect!
We had such a great time spending time with our family at this lovely cabin near St. Mary's Glacier. It was just so perfect! The cabin is so pretty inside with huge windows in the living room and master bedroom overlooking an incredible mountain view. There was tons of snow all around this cabin which we were hoping for coming from Georgia. The owner was so responsive and provided us with 4 sets of snowshoes, big robes and slippers for the hot tub and sauna, wine, snacks, beer, and coffees. We felt so pampered! The hot tub was awesome overlooking the mountain view and it was fun running back and forth between using it and the sauna. We used the snow shoes around the property and then took them to use at St. Mary's Glacier. So glad we did because the snow was deep. The woodburning stove kept the cabin so warm and cozy in the 5 degree temps. The kitchen had everything we needed including many condiments in the fridge. It was a long drive down to town so we stayed at the cabin and cooked all our meals. The beds are very comfortable with interesting sheets. Anyway, we loved everything about this gorgeous cabin.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! Amazing views. Easy to find. Point of contact Adam was amazing he made sure the driveway was accessible from the drifting snow. It was by far the best cabin we have stayed at. It is fully stocked with everything you need and more. It was spotless from head to toe which is a must for us. They even left us complementary goodies!! Thank you for making our stay amazing and opening this cabin to us!!

Great Mountain Cabin
Beautiful scenery, excellent interior design, nice open floor plan, and wonderful amenities. The owners were very responsive with their communication, they go above and beyond in making you feel at home. The view is stunning and the cabin feels secluded even though there are a couple of homes nearby. We stayed there in the middle of June and it was a little warm for that time of year. Leaving the windows open helped get a breeze inside and cool the place off. I would suggest screens on the windows to prevent bugs from coming in. I highly recommend having the blinds and curtains in the master bedroom shut during the day if you're staying in the summer. The room can get rather warm due to the sun shining directly in. One issue we had was with the sheets on the bed the first night, they were very hot and not breathable. However, we found other bed sheets in the closet that were much more comfortable and most likely cotton. We very much enjoyed our stay and if we are staying in this area again we would definitely stay here if it were available, We will be recommending this place to our friends and family.

This place was a little smaller than expected but GORGEOUS and perfect for myself and my partner. Everything was so clean warm and welcoming!! The kitchen was overstocked, they even left wine on the counter and beer in the fridge with snacks and coffee for the morning!! The hot tub and outdoor setting was exactly what we were looking for!! The road to the house was very windy and rocky but not an issue at all, just drove slowly. We would LOVE to stay here again and highly recommend it!!

We're already planning a return trip
This cabin is *truly* exceptional. Our party of 3 girlfriends had the greatest weekend getaway in the mountains! The incredible views (photos do NOT do it justice), indulgent amenities (hot tub, SAUNA, provided robes/slippers!), and the thoughtful care the Miner's Vista owners put into this property are just some of the reasons we're already planning a return trip. We really appreciated the easy-to-follow instructions for the hot tub and sauna as well as the timely check-in information and contact info leading up to our stay. The space was immaculately clean with a spacious layout while still feeling cabin-cozy. We wanted for nothing thanks to the completely stocked kitchen and eating meals out on the deck with those views was incredible. We all agreed this was the best vacation rental we've stayed in. Can't wait to visit again for another girls weekend!

Wonderful Retreat
We loved our stay at the cabin. Was well stocked and the sauna was a real treat. I will caution anyone who follows the GPS to not take Rainbow in the winter. We got stuck but thankfully the owner got us in touch with someone to come help. We really appreciated that. I recommend the Glacier hike in St Mary's and the Safeway in town. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Honeymoon in Heaven
Wow what an amazing stay! We stayed from February 22-25th for the first stretch of our honeymoon. We were greeted with snacks and a delicious wine on the counter when we arrived. The view is absolutely stunning. Our favorite amenities were the indoor fireplace, hot tub, and sauna! A lot of thought has been put into the mining decor and it was very well put together. Wish we would’ve stayed here longer. Completely remote with the exception of one small house down the hill that we didn’t even see until our second day! They had snowshoes for us to use and plenty of firewood! It snowed every day we were there and we loved sitting in front of the giant living room window in front of the fire together. We even moved the bedding out to the living room and slept in front of the fireplace on our last night! The hot tub is amazingly placed with great views and not too far from the door, and the sauna was magical with the window to look out over the mountains. You MUST have 4wheel drive in the winter to get up the driveway and to drive through Saint Mary’s to get to the house. Can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the deck and outdoor fireplace!

Perfect Mountain getaway
This home in the Mountains was a perfect peaceful place to spend our Thanksgiving. The inside of the home is very nice and has cozy decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything we would need. We enjoyed lounging on the porch and soaking in the hot tub after hiking St. Mary's glacier and Rocky Mountain. Overall a wonderful experience.

Perfect relaxing getaway
We needed some stress relief and this rental property granted that. The cabin is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The outdoor furniture is comfortable and plentiful. The hot tub is easy to access. The indoor fireplace kept the cabin warm enough we opened windows to cool it down. There is little more we could have asked for. After having rented several cabins in Colorado and South Dakota, I feel confident in saying this is the best we've stayed in and I would recommend it to anyone.

Miner's Vista was a cozy and inviting getaway tucked in the mountains near Idaho Springs. The cabin felt like home away from home the moment we walked in. The deck on the front was the perfect place to lounge and soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking. The views from the cabin were beautiful and the propane fire table warmed us up as we gazed at the stars. Would highly recommend!

Slice of heaven!
Our stay in early July 2021 was perfect. It’s a quiet and cozy cabin high in the Rockies with an easy drive along a good winding highway from Idaho Springs. The view is wonderful at just over 10,000 feet. The cabin is pristine with everything you need for a getaway including an outdoor hot tub. The owner is readily available if you have any questions. We live in SE Florida at near sea level and suggest becoming familiar with altitude sickness and prevention if you’re not acclimated to high elevation. A nearby hike to the glacier is well worth the climb and a rafting trip down the river was a memorable experience. Truly a slice of heaven!

We so enjoyed being snowed in at 10,500 ft. Perfect getaway for relaxing, playing games and enjoying each other in peaceful environment. Owners had great touches like a welcome basket, fully equipped kitchen, stocked paper products and wood for the stove. Perfect!!

Absolute perfection
The "illusion of seclusion" was the perfect getaway. The cabin is simply gorgeous, well decorated and stocked with all the essentials. Complimentary firewood and the hot tub are but icing on the cake. This find was a true gem!
