The staff are very helpful and attentive. The property is well maintained and has lots of windows to view the mountains and surrounding areas. The way it is situated makes it feel like you’re secluded yet it is a minutes drive to all the town stores and restaurants. The weekend breakfast menu was varied and excellent. We recommend this property and want to come back.

The room (Bliss) was very comfortable, great shower and extremely comfortable bed. The house was beautifully decorated, however the staff were never there and tough to track down. The gym equipment was old and no amenities available throughout the entire day even the water wasn’t replenished.

Loved our weekend stay in the cutest lodge in the cutest mountain town. The staff was great and helpful. The lodge is lovely and a perfect place to get some peace and quiet from the busy city. The only thing I would love to see improved upon was the king mattress in our room. It has lived a good life supporting many travelers and it’s time to send it to mattress heaven. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to Idyllwild and this lodge :)

The Grand in Idyllwild is a charming hotel, set among the trees, very tranquil and very comfortable. Free parking. Good Continental breakfast. Our Retreat Suite was spacious, great bed, and very clean, but some things could be improved for the price that we paid. Loose shower-head, no kettle or teabags (might sound fussy but we're tea drinkers like many others) and very sparse bathroom amenities.

We loved our stay here at the Grand Idyllwild Lodge. The staff were very responsive to our needs. Our room was exceptional with a beautiful electric fireplace and lovely linens on the bed. We stayed during the week so we had the continental breakfast. Bagels, scones and breakfast sandwiches were offered. Along with yogurt and hot and cold cereal. Coffee, tea and juices had also been set out. We definitely will be returning again.
