Wow factor

Amazing location, great value for a family holiday. Good and helpful host with great local recommendations helping to max enjoyment of the area. Family didn’t want to leave.

Fantastic Stay

We (2 families with children) had a really great time in the villa. The view is stunning, the location good, the bay for swimming and snorkeling simply top. It couldn't be better. Also a big thank you to the obliging host Georgios!

Paradise

This is the most stunning location, tucked in a small private bay. We enjoyed endless snorkling during the day and star-gazing at night. The owner was also kind and easy-going. Can't wait to return.... next time, I hope to try the pizza oven

Everything and more....

Spent relaxing time at fab house with beautiful view and perfect outdoor space to have breakfast and dinner too. Slept in cool breezes and didn’t even need the a/c. Spotless clean and everything we needed.

A peaceful, private and beautiful setting!

We loved our stay at Villa Charoupi! It exceeded our expectations in so many ways! In particular, the private bays were bliss, all three had their own decking areas and sun loungers getting the sun throughout the entire day. The water was crystal clear and with small pools, suitable for all ages! The villa itself was perfect for a family of five. The outside eating area with large stone BBQ and pizza oven made cooking in a pleasure and should both villas have been taken a wonderful space to entertain. Georgios was a fantastic host, very attentive and happy to offer recommendations for local tavernas. We would recommend this villa to anyone and hope to return one day!

Beautiful setting, for the perfect family holiday

We stayed at Pelegios in the kids Half Term (UK) week in May 2018. We booked out both Villas (Charoupi and Kali Skia) we were two families with kids ages 5-10. It was a perfect location for our needs and kids and adults alike loved it. From the shallow sandy pools off the private platform on one side of the beach to the pontoon ideal for swimming and snorkeling straight off the steps from the other side. The setting is idyllic. The pictures look great, but the reality is even better. The beach is very private and ideal for shallow snorkelling, rock climbing, sunbathing and swimming in the warm sea with several coves to investigate in easy reach. The properties are a decent size, cool and well fitted out. We didn’t spend much time inside, but bedrooms were perfect and the living space ample. If there was one small gripe it would be the kitchen is small and bathrooms in Chapousi a little small too. But we used the BBQ and Pizza oven in the pleasant outside space with lovely views across the gardens and out to sea. Georgios was a great host, available for any questions and suggesting good local tavernas and all relevant amenities. You will need a car. Access is down a very steep drive and shops are about 1/2 a mile away once you’ve climbed up. But there are decent supermarkets close, better ones in Lapartera and plenty of other key amenities, chemist etc. From here we visited places like Via, Agio Nicolas and Spinalonga, Koufonisi and Chrysii Islands. 8 beautiful days of non stop sun and 27-28 oc. An ideal spot and perfect holiday. It was tough dragging the kids away from the Villa and beach for the day they loved it so much

A Magic place

Villa Charoupi is a beautifully maintained house with a magical garden and private beach with terrific jetty. From the lovely terrace, one looks out over the pristine coastline, crystal clear sea. The house is surrounded on all sides by terraces full of olive trees, and more flowers than I can mention. My family and I spent two unforgettable weeks here and had a difficult time leaving. Our daughters spent hours playing on the jetty, we barbequed on the terrace, we stayed in the sandy pools with the moon above us and made great trips around the island.The biggest advantage of this property is the privacy you feel from the different private bays. Also so special was the warm welcome we received from Georgios and the way they looked out for us.Seaside taverns and the Supermarket located only a few minutes away. I didn't expect to find such a beautiful and perfect spot and hope to back soon.

Hideaway at the beach

This property is a beauty! The two villas are situated in a large garden directly at the sea. Not many people know this bay, so even the beach is private most of the time. The beach area is well equipped with sun beds. Both villas are fully equipped, the interior is practical but not fancy. Each room has an air condition and both villas have a WIFI connection. The BBQ at the upper villa is perfect! You can easily get fresh fish in Ierapetra and grill it here! Georgios is very supportive he helped us with all our questions throughout the stay.

Ferienhäuser mit wunderschönem Grundstück

Wer die Ruhe und Natur sucht ist hier richtig. Man hört nur die Zikaden und das Meer, sonst nichts. Auf dem Grundstück verteilt sind überall ruhige Plätze mit Meerblick. Das Grundstück bietet sehr viel Platz und ist für Kreta sehr grün. Eine kleine Bucht gehört einem allein. Es macht Spaß zu schnorcheln und zu schwimmen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

A private piece of paradise

We couldn't have been happier or more impressed with our stay. As a group of friends we hired both Villa Charoupi and Villa Kali Skia for my 40th birthday celebrations for 8 nights.. It was absolutely perfect. The setting is insanely beautiful and we loved the different areas to swim, and to hang out. We had a 9month baby with us and the pool was great for her to bob around in and easy for her Mum and Dad to get her in and out. The wee deck area over the pool was great to sit and have a few drinks in a sun lounger. And then there was the (other) private bay. It was absolutely superb. We spent a LOT of time there. From the perfect early morning wake up swims to antipasto lunches to cocktails all day long made at the 'bar' - it was awesome. We loved the privacy and clarity of the water was what dreams are made of. The two villas were also superb. A few niggles with a few bits and pieces breaking but nothing that couldn't easily be replaced or fixed. They were super comfy and a lot of thought has been given to small details. With the 2 villas we were spoilt - we all met and had group breakfasts down at the lower villa, spent the day by the water, and at night moved up to the top villa for BBQ's (amazing bbq area btw!) and lovely long dinners around the table on the deck with the most amazing views and sunsets. Georgios was amazing to deal with and couldn't heave been more helpful and friendly. He really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble- he was superb!! I wish we could be transported back there now, I'd love to book in every year - it is such a special place. I can't imagine a more perfect holiday and way to celebrate /commiserate the big 4-0. I feel really lucky to have spent time there - I almost don't want anyone else to know about it so we can keep it to ourselves, but obviosuly we want Georgios to get lots of visitors - these places are just so, so special. Can't wait to go back!

All it promises and more...!!!

The beach, like the villa, was just like being in paradise. Direct on the beach.What you expect after seeing the pictures is exactly what you get when you are there. The peaceful and calm atmosphere combined with the fantastic view, takes away all motivation to go somewhere else. The owner George is lovely and very welcoming. He also gave us great local info on restaurants and beaches to visit .Also, there a beaches nearby that are very secluded and not full of tourists like the beaches in the north. The facilities both inside and outside the villa is excellent and high quality, with balconies and eating areas in sun and shade in a lovely garden with a bbq.What a wonderful, peaceful holiday with no worries!We will definitely go back as soon as we can. Don't tell everyone- let’s keep it our secret!!!!

Fantastic private seaside villa

We had an absolutely fantastic week at villa Charoupi and would eagerly return. The house itself is also exceptional. Extremely clean, great stock of kid-friendly toys and supplies (ie plastic dishes and cutlery, potty, high-chairs, baby towels etc). Landscaping is beautifully done, and the views down to the sea and across to the mountains were lovely. We hired a boat from Nikos and really enjoyed seeing the island from the sea, and snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters. We will be back next summer! Thank you so much George!

Perfect location, perfect views, perfect service

Wow, this vacation was the best! This place was absolutely fabulous and was true to the pictures. George, the property manager, was helpful and genuinely wanted to make our stay memorable. I beach (wading pools) were stunning and also allowed us to sit back on a tube/raft with a nice cold beverage and just enjoy the "life of the rich and famous" without the steep price tag. We traveled to other beaches on the north side (North of Chania) and further south, but our experience was that we had all that we needed at villa Charoupi. The snorkeling was excellent and the variety was as good as what we saw when we chartered a boat...So, the drive from HER airport may be further than what you would like, but traffic was always light, the views were always gorgeous AND then you arrive at villa Charoupi and you are blown away. The locals at Ferma Village (restaurants, grocery, butcher) were all very friendly and willing to help us even when we couldn't speak a common language...hand gestures, smiles, and laughs were abundant. I have to say that I had high hopes for this vacation and some hesitation given the few write-ups, but I left Villa Charoupi with the biggest smile on my face for the best family vacation that I ever had. Thanks George, hope to come back next year! ...efcharisto. //john

Our holiday at the villa Charoupi

Good evening! We liked our staying at the Villa Charoupi ! We spend a very good time! Very beautiful place! Amazing Bay.There is a big green territory , lots of fruit and pine trees! This gives the air a special freshness . It was very nice to Wake up every morning to birds singing. I must admit that it was our first opinion to rent villa. Before we prefer to stay in the hotels. As for my recommendations. For greater comfort for your guests I would recommend you to make a more safe way to the sea, may be steps. Then I think you need to spend wi fi to the beach, because sometimes some people must half day to work at the computer, and it is better to work near the sea. And I would recommend you improve the second part of the beach, increase the area to more people, And in the main beach clean entry into the water from large rocks. And to provide more sun loungers for sunbathing. You also need precociously beach towels. As for the villas then you need to put inside the dishwasher . And strengthen the Internet as in the 3rd room it was not working. It is also necessary to strengthen the bulb on the ceiling. And you need from time to time to poison insects and ants. You know , After staying in your Villa we moved to the hotel and there were no problems with insects! In short, we liked our vocation in villa Charoupi . Perfect family vacation

Its a beautiful 3 bedrooms appartment with a sun balcony and a sweet ston yard. Stairs lead you to a privat beach, and ajacent are shallow sandy pools. It was just oerfect for our 1.5 year old boy. Georg and Yanis were extremly nice, attentive and available all the time. Gave us perfect tips that suited our needs (where to go, where to eat etc). And prepered for us a home made meal..wow!! Its the oerefect vacation house if you want a quite privat place.

Private Beach Holidays!

A great value for money holidays! Better than expected! You can only experience the truth when visiting this place. The images just tell a few words about the actual location. As soon as you arrive at Villa Charoupi, you realize that you stay at a "private" beach with breathtaking views. The villa was crystal clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and were glad there are bbq facilities as we cooked quite often. The owners are very friendly and gave us a lot of useful information and tips about the area and interesting places to visit. I strongly recommend this appartment both for couples, families as well as a small group of friends! We will make sure to go back one day! Thank you very much for the memories Yannis & Giorgos!

"Total relaxation"

A lovely villa in perfect harmony with the environment! Villa Charoupi was gorgeous, cared in every detail. The view and the point which is located the house was memorable. We were surprised by the wild beauty of the beach and the stunning view. Opposite of us distinguished the unspoiled island of Chrisi (gold), (in which we traveled by boat). Yiannis and Giorgos were always by our side more than willing to help, feeling like our home. Truly professionals. I will gladly go back..!
