we only stayed for one night, but we had the greatest time. we checked in early so we had the whole day. The hotel was situated high up in the mountians, fantastic view, super quiet and relaxing. service was excellent, food incredible, room was super spacious, cozy, great view with a nice balcony, clean and super comfy bed. The staff was very welcoming and nice. we will absolutely recommend this place to anyone who like a more authentic and relaxing stay.

Vari aspetti da migliorare

Abbiamo prenotato un appartamento per 2 adulti e 2 bambini per 4 notti. Buona la comunicazione via mail. Ogni mattina veniva preparata la colazione, varia ed abbastanza soddisfacente. Non possiamo dire lo stesso dell'alloggio. Non abbiamo trovato il divano letto preparato ma abbiamo dovuto rifarlo al nostro arrivo. Appartamento vecchio e malconcio. Rotta la finestra del bagno e la maniglia della porta del bagno. Phon attaccatto alla bene meglio. Lampadine guaste e non funzionanti in ogni stanza. Fili elettrici che fuoriuscivano nel soggiorno da una spina. Cucina assolutamente non attrezzata per poter preparare da mangiare. Foto che non rendono proprio bene l'idea di come è veramente. L'hotel si trova in un paesino senza nessuna attivita presente e con case diroccate. Dista almeno 35-40 minuti nel nulla dal mare o dal centro abitato principale. In piu si affaccia in una stradina in estrema pendenza all'interno del paese. Non so se questa è l'idea che uno si fa dalle foto che vede.

Πήγαμε για ένα τριήμερο και περάσαμε υπέροχα. Πολύ ωραίο μέρος για να χαλαρώσεις. Το δωμάτιο μας άρεσε.Το φαγητό ήταν πολύ καλό. Θα πάμε ξανά μόλις μας δωθεί ευκαιρία.

Καλή τοποθεσία, ανεπαρκές, υπηρεσίες ελλειπείς!

Το μέρος ειναι καταπληκτικό αλλά δεν του οικήματος δεν του έχουν δώσει την αξία που θα έπρεπε. Έχοντας επισκεφτεί αρκετούς παρόμοιους χώρες και σε ίδιες ή και χαμηλότερες τιμές , οι παροχές ήταν ελάχιστες. Δεν υπήρχαν βασικά πράγματα μέσα στο σπίτι , το οποίο υποτίθεται ότι είναι επαρκώς εξοπλισμένο για διαβίωση ζευγαριών , οικογενειών. Επίσης ενώ υπάρχει η περιγραφή με τζάκι και αξιοποίηση του , αν δεν ζητούσαμε και τις δύο μέρες από τον ιδιοκτήτη ξύλα, δεν θα μας έδινε ! Πέρα από αυτό μας έδωσε 4 - 5 ξύλα τη φορά. Επιπλέον είχαμε μωράκι και αναγκάστηκαμε να το έχουμε πάνω με το aircondition γιατί τα καλοριφέρ δεν άναβαν όλο το βράδυ . Α! Κουζινακι δεν υπάρχει ενώ οι πετσέτες είναι μετρημένες στα δύο δάκτυλα. Τέλος όταν φτάσαμε ( 15.05) , το δωμάτιο δεν ήταν έτοιμο και περιμεναμε κοντά μια ώρα για να μπούμε . Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήρθε μας μίλησε λιγάκι, μας προσέφερε τη δυνατότητα να κάτσουμε στην ταβέρνα του μέχρι να ετοιμαστεί αλλά εμείς προτίμησαμε τον ήλιο και τον καθαρό αέρα. Για να γίνει πραγματικά luxury πρέπει να αλλαχθούν πολλά πράγματα και πρόχειρες κατασκευές. Για να φεύγει ο πελάτης ευχαριστημένος πρέπει να μπουν στην θέση του και να δουν τι λείπει.

Diese Unterkunft war dort nicht so zu vermuten. Es war alles toll. leider wurde bei einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Die Aussicht von den tollen Terrassen war sehr schön.

Für Ausflüge ins Gebirge oder abseits -20 min Autofahrt- der Beschäftigungen am Wasser eine relativ luxuriöse Unterkunft mit wunderbarer Kulinarik und hilfreichem netten Vermieter.

I had a lovely appartment with a four poster bed. There were candles and smooth, white pebbles in the bathroom and a smashing view from the bedroom balcony. Very romantic. Food in the restaurant was excellent. It was also frequented by locals which added some interest. Although the write up said continental breakfast, mine included a sort of omelette on toast and a cheese pie thing, much appreciated as I had a mountain to climb as part of the E4 European long distance walk. As for the negatives, I had to clean the bath out of dead flies and things before using it, possibly because the flyscreen on the window did not reach the sill. Not so romantic.. Before arriving I was directed to a long form to fill in and upload a copy of my passport. Enough information to break into your bank account! I could not make it work on my phone and so did not fill it in. I emailed Villa Mala to tell them but received no reply. During my stay it was not mentioned so can't have been too important.

Un lieu magnifique en pleine montagne

Séjour itinérant pour découvrir l'île en 1 semaine. Séjourner à Males m'a permis de découvrir la partie est de l'île. C'est un lieu très reposant, éloigné certes, mais typique et loin des touristes. Taverne très sympathique, petit déjeuner copieux (trop !). J'y ai passé 2 nuits très agréables. Et la baignoire à remous.... pas mal.

We liked that the room was big and had a huge comfy bed. Also the view of the mountains was very nice from our room. The food at the villa tavern was also good and inexpensive. The room needs improvements because you can see time has passed over it. Some small improvements can go a long way!

Ambiente tranquillo abbarbicato sulle colline di Creta. Tortuosa la strada per arrivarci. La vista è meravigliosa ma parcheggiare su una strada in salita stretta è un impresa. Deludente il ristorante.

Amazing accommodation in the mountains. Food is great, staff are really nice. About twenty minute drive to Myrtos beach. Would highly recommend a car if staying there.

Bellissima struttura personale molto gentile. Abbiamo anche avuto la fortuna di partecipare ad una colazione organizzata da persone locali.... ma purtroppo è troppo isolata da tutte le infrastrutture. Noi avevamo l'auto e non avevamo difficoltà nello spostarci anche perché ci piace girare. Unica cosa negativa non c'è stato il servizio in camera con il cambio degli asciugamani e la stanza un po' troppo buia. Comunque giudizio positivo e ci ritornerei.

Absolutely beautiful, serene, genuine Greek town

Hosts can’t do enough for you, setting is astonishingly beautiful and pictures or words won’t do it justice. The food is genuine Greek cuisine cooked and sourced by locals and very fairly priced. The breakfast consisted of 4 courses of delicious food. You would expect to pay 5 times what they ask for and still feel fairly charged. Very kind and accommodating owners, who are genuinely friendly. The rooms are clean while rustically decorating, they have everything you need and more. There is a feel of luxury that you just don’t expect at this price. Myself and my girlfriend Ilona have had the nicest week imaginable staying at villa mala and really we wish the owners all the best. They deserve success, this hotel is clearly their passion and it shows in the service you receive. My only regret is not having more cash to leave for tips as the staff deserve them!

Nice place, wonderful hosts

Quite a drive to get there (DO NOT TRAVEL VIA THE NORTHERN ROUTE) but a wonderful oasis when you arrive. Rooms and washrooms are big and the food onsite is very good.
