Fantastic place with a lack of communication

The place is really wonderful...a bit difficult to find, as google maps shows a wrong direction shortly before you arrive. The house is clean and well equipped. Don't worry if you have no direct contact to the keyholter but be careful with the frontdoor...we excluded us from the apartment one time and it was a bit difficult do get somebody to help. You need to check the document inside...there you will find a contact number beside the keyholder.In winter you will find a frozen river in front of the house...good place to do icehockey and long hikes to the near inari lake. We had a lot of fun!!Ekkehard Rose

Ruhe am See mitten im Wald

Die Hütte entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen hinsichtlich Gemütlichkeit, ausreichender Heizung selbst bei außen -30°C, Sauna und Kaminofen, Küchenausstattung. Wir haben uns zu zweit fast 3 Wochen lang sehr wohl gefühlt. Stark übertrieben ist nur die Behauptung, sie sei für bis zu 6 Personen geeignet. Es gibt nach normalen Maßstäben Platz für maximal 2 Erwachsene und 3 kleinere Kinder bis zu ca. 8 Jahren, und zwar sowohl wegen der Bettenanzahl und der geringen Höhe des oberen Schlafraumes, als auch wegen der Größe und Ausstattung des Hauptaufenthaltsraumes.

Chalet Hoviranta

Un super chalet très spacieux, un poêle à bois qui vous réchauffe bien, accès au bois dans une petite cabane face au chalet. La literie reste moyenne. Le chalet comporte un sauna très agréable. L'emplacement du chalet est top, il se trouve au milieu des bois et à 50m du lac qui nous a permis de voir 2 fois des aurores boréales. Super vacances

We had an amazing stay at Hoviranta. The location is the best if you want to spend time alone in nature. Would definitely come back. The host is also very caring and communicative. 10/10.

Une perle au milieu de la forêt lapone

Ce chalet à été notre petit écrin de sérénité pendant une semaine. Literie confortable, attention lits à l’étage avec escalier assez raide (si enfants en bas âges ou personnes handicapées). Tout équipé pour se faire de bons petits plats. Quel bonheur de se réchauffer au coin du feu, de se faire un sauna puis d’aller sauter dans la neige.Accès au lac gelé à seulement quelques mètres. La cerise sur le gâteau des aurores boréales juste au dessus de la maison à plusieurs reprises. Nature, calme

Fabuleux séjour

Très joli chalet en bois au milieu de la forêt enneigée. Tout confort avec sauna au bois et poêle. Nous n'avons vu personne pour l'accueil, les clefs étaient sur la porte. Facile à trouver avec GPS.

Wunderschön sehr empfehlenswert

Diese Hütte ist mit sehr schön zu bewerten einfach untertrieben. Die Stille gepaart mit Einsamkeit ist wie ein Jungbrunnen. Wir waren drei Wochen in dieser Hütte. Es war alles perfekt. Die Ausstattung der Küche war perfekt. Die Holz beheizte Sauna ein Erlebnis. Leider fehlte eine Waschmaschine. Diesen Umstand wussten wir von Beginn an. Also Leute denkt an genügend Wäsche. Wir würden diese Hütte sofort wieder buchen.

Gemütliches Heim, einsam gelegen in wunderschöner, unbelasteter Natur

Hoviranta ist ein kleines, gemütliches, für vier Erwachsene bzw. Eltern mit drei Kindern, ausreichend "großes" Haus. Wir haben uns in diesem Heim bereits das zweite Mal sehr wohl gefühlt. - Unsere Freunde bereits das dritte Mal. - Und wir werden evtl. wiederkommen. Das Haus ist klein, aber bietet alles, was wir für eine gute 10-tägige Entspannung benötigen: gute Betten, eine gemütliche Wohnküche mit Kaminofen und eine kleine Sauna (Das Holz für Ofen und Sauna ist kostenfrei - man muss es nur hacken), einen Gasgrill (super Steaks), einen Räucherofen und jetzt auch einen Toaster (Wir haben unseren dort gelassen). Unser Hauptanliegen: Nordlichter zu beobachten hat sich auch erfüllt. Ein kleiner Trampelpfad führt zum nahen See. Auf der mehr als 50 cm dicken Eisdecke oder an anderen tollen Nordlichtspots haben wir so manche Stunde in kühler Nacht (bis zu minus 31 Grad) verbracht und Fotos ohne Zahl geschossen. In Ivalo (ca. 15 km) bekommt man so ziemlich alles, was man benötigt: zwei gut sortierte Supermärkte, ein Haushaltswarengeschäft (nicht nur für Frauen), einen Baumarkt (wer's braucht), Restaurants und einen Snowmobilverleih - Ivalon Auto Oy (wichtig !!!). In ca. 2 Stunden ist man über den Inari-See in Iinari - und der Weg dahin führt nahe am Haus vorbei. Natürlich gibt es immer etwas zu verbessern oder zu "meckern". Nur eine Toilette - nur eine Dusche - keine Waschmaschine - nur finnisches Fernsehen. Aber braucht man diese Dinge wirklich? Uns haben sie keine Minute gefehlt! P.S.: Für die, die etwas ängstlich sind, so allein in der Natur: Besuche haben wir nur von Rentieren erhalten. An unserem letzten Tag und in der darauffolgenden Nacht gab es ca. 10 cm Neuschnee, doch der Schneeflug hat rechtzeitig am nächsten Tag alles geräumt.

Absolut Empfehlenswert

Das Haus liegt ca 15-20 Auto-min außerhalb von Ivalo mitten im Wald an einem Fluß. Wir waren Ende Januar dort und konnten Aurora-Borealis direkt beobachten. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist Vollständig um dort zu Kochen oder zu Backen. Eine Sauna ebenso existent und wird durch Holz befeuert. Das Restliche Haus ist mit Elektroheizungen ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca 15-20min mit dem Auto in Ivalo wo zwei große Supermärkte existieren + kleinere Geschäfte von Angelbedarf bis hin zu Souvenir.

Kleines, gemütliches Haus am Fluss

Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal in diesem Haus und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Es ist klein, hat aber alles was man zum Entspannen braucht - einen Ofen, Sauna und viel Ruhe. Nach Ivalo und zum Flughafen ist es ein Katzensprung und die pure Wildnis ist auch nicht weit! Ideal für bis zu vier Personen - sonst wird es schon recht eng!
