"Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Mid winter, -20C outside, we could step onto the verandah for views and photos of the Aurora when it came by, and jump back inside to warm up. Great sauna, warmed us up after a day out in the snow. Overall, we were so happy with this accommodation. Weeks later we still say it was the best part of our trip. "

"This place is absolutely incredible! It was renovated late 2025 and the new restaurant etc is beautiful. The food is 10/10, staff amazing and the entire area and facilities are wonderful. Excellent activities available too and you can hire all winter clothing needed for free (if you come in winter). Also very close to Ivalo airport and easy access to Inari and Saariselka as well. Highly recommended! "

"A great place to stay if you want to see Aurora! It’s so far from any city so you get the full dark sky here, even the weakest aurora would be so vivid in this place. They have a WhatsApp group so everyone on site can share information if they see aurora. The place has a restaurant and the foods are amazing with a reasonable price! Plenty of activities you can do on site as well. Recommend to stay minimum 3/4 nights. My first 2 nights were cloudy but 3rd night was one of the best auroras in my trip."
