Brand new construction. It is at the top of a mountain overlooking the historic New River. This cabin has everything you would ever want in a vacation rental. It has an open-concept kitchen with access to the front deck for beautiful countryside, mountain views, as well gorgeous views of the river. So close you can hear the river right from the front deck. The kitchen is also fully stocked with brand new stainless steel appliances, ready to accommodate any size family's cooking needs. We provide trash bags, paper towels, and dishwasher tabs. We have a crock pot, coffee maker, blender, outside griddle, and much much more for all your cooking needs. The kitchen is open into the living room with comfortable seating for all guests. The couch is a Serta mattress couch that turns into a full-size queen bed with a head that elevates. Can be used for extra guests or just lounging around and watching movies. We have ceramic tile that looks like wood throughout the rental which gives it that real home feel. The house is equipped with 2 full-size bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed, with direct access to the hot tub just outside the deck door. We have towels for the hot tub and a Bluetooth speaker available for use with the hot tub. It also has a 55-inch TV with Direct TV hookup and Netflix available on a smart TV. The other bedroom features a full-sized bed with a trundle tucked away underneath. The Riverview Cabin has entertainment for all including a 55-inch TV with access to Direct TV and Netflix on a smart TV, card games board games, and a few books available. For those that are into hiking a trail leading down to the creek or a long gravel driveway down to the creek is available. Sit by the creek enjoy the sounds of nature and watch the small fish swim around. We have wild turkeys and deer that are around the cabin for your viewing pleasure. Let the kids take a splash into the creek and enjoy the clean mountain water. It has a long winding gravel driveway that leads up to the top of the mountain and overlooks beautiful scenery below.

LIVING ROOM AMENITIES: Serta couch that turns into a queen size bed or lounger for watching TV in comfort, Rocking recliner, 55-inch flat screen with Direct TV and Netflix on a smart TV, Gas Fireplace that can be turned on with the touch of a button. We have remote-controlled candlelight also available as an option.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: -Towels/Linen Provided, Iron, Hair Dryer, WiFi, Washer/Dryer, Outside deck area with Hot Tub, Grill, front porch glider, and two chairs and a small table to use while enjoying the view.

ACTIVITIES:

-Kayak-Canoe-Tubing: About a 2-minute drive to the New River public boat access for a popular summer destination and activity. You can bring your own tubes or kayaks. We do have kayaks available for rent.

-Golf Course: There are plenty of options for golfing in the area!

-Fishing: Lots of locations available for freshwater fishing or if you prefer fly fishing is also a great choice.

-Hiking and horseback riding are a favorite for the area there are a few rental locations around. Enjoy your choice of hiking trails or visit the local Grayson Highland State Park for the breathtaking views on their hiking and riding trails and see the wild ponies that roam the park. Close to the New River Trail State Park.

-Restaurants: The area has a few local breweries and vineyards. We have several local restaurants to choose from just minutes away.

-Shopping: antiquing, movie theatres, historical museums, and a local farmers market that is open on Friday mornings, the grocery store is just 2 minutes away.

-Hospital is within 15 minutes of our location there are 2 different ones to choose from.

-Grocery store, library, ATM, banks, and churches located within a 2-minute drive of the cabin.

-Outdoor activities: Hunting, cycling, biking, rafting, sightseeing, bird and animal watching, scenic drives, playgrounds. If you are looking for a quiet vacation away with beautiful views or want to escape to a place full of adventure, this place is for you!

-Music: Enjoy old-time bluegrass music this is the location for you. We have lots of historic bluegrass musicians in the area. We are home to the largest bluegrass music festival in the world. Galax Fiddlers Convention is a huge celebration of bluegrass music held annually. Grayson Highlands hosts several festivals with some famous bluegrass musicians who play every year. We have several other music festivals throughout the year including, Fries Fiddlers, Sparta Fiddlers, and Elk Creek Fiddlers. We also have the Blue Ridge Music Center located on the Blue Ridge Parkway just a few minutes' drive from our location.
