This house was extremely clean and was stocked with everything, (and then some)that you need! We had a group of 5 with 3 teens. Everyone had their own bed /(futons) and space comfortably. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner. We barely saw anyone. We stayed Aug 19-23. The water access is a short walk, but we chose to drive because it is across the road. There is a large parking area. We had the water spot to ourselves every time we were there. It’s perfect for swimming, fishing & paddling. The sunrises are a must see at the lake access! We even had a couple loons come in early morning! It’s a very short trip to the town of Indian Lake. Don’t miss out on that. The marina is not a far drive if you need to rent kayaks, canoes or a boat. There is so much to explore on the lake itself! We paddled from the marina to the Baldface Mountain trail. It was a short hike to the peak. It was such a beautiful view! Gore Mountain is only 20 minutes away. Lake George is an hour away! After a long day of hiking,paddling & swimming there is a shower & amazing jet bath tub! My fav! There is internet access too so we could unwind with a movie in the Lroom. We had a couple fires right outside the glass doors. Don’t forget to look up at the stars at night! The host was amazing, she responded very quickly with any questions we had. It was a great relaxing yet exhausting vacation for us! I definitely will be a repeat renter of this house. We didn’t see any bears, just deer & squirrels! Thankfully!
