David and Daniela are great hosts, the location is excellent being located right on long lake with so many other ADK attractions within easy driving range. Can not recommend Sandy Point motel enough! "We rode on a motorcycle for 10 hours under constant rain. When we arrived at 10pm, we were soaked. Hot shower was all matters. I am glad the water was very hot. Towels and hair dryer were ready. The room was very clean. They also offer free coffee and some energy bars, which ended up as our dinner. It was a perfect destination for our day."
