Meets Very Basic Needs
The stay was nothing overly impressive and met the basic needs of a stay. Here are the Pros and Cons
Pros - Location was great. I was worried about parking being downtown on a one way street but I did not have any issues parking or getting where I wanted to go. The apartment was well insulated and warm inside. It is spacious and offered plenty of room with quiet environment. Check in was easy and check out was a breeze. No complaints on the process.
Cons - We had a 10 hour drive in and expected to purchase groceries and fill the fridge for the weekend. My friend was breastfeeding/pumping and needed a place to store her milk and freeze her bags as well. We were a few hours away on Saturday when the homeowner messages me to say the fridge went out on Friday and wasn't going to be fixed but they put a mini fridge in the apartment for us to use.This fridge was not big enough to hold anything but some waters, a few breastmilk bags, and that's it. So, we opted not to get groceries and spent MORE money eating out as a result. This was pretty inconvenient and frustrating. There was a STRONG odor of curry when we entered the apartment and was so overpowering that we went and purchased some plug ins and air fresheners. This worked for the weekend and we left them there for him to keep. There were no cards or games. The bare minimum only. I slept on the couch which sloped downward but tolerable. Last, the stairs going up to the apt. are STEEP and narrow. Overall, Good stay.
