Bed BUGS! I checked in at this hotel and my room was on the third floor. I stopped for some sleep after a long 7 hour drive with my small children. As soon as I walked into the room I noticed all the lights were on and I thought that was odd. After about an hour of getting settled and finally laying down I turned the lights off and laid on the pillow and wrapped my arm around it, within a few minutes I feel a slight bite or itch. I shined my phone screen and saw a dark brown dot. I moved quickly and looked again and there was nothing there so I turned on my phone light and saw what at first looked like a tiny tick but it moved super fast and crawled into the pillow case which is when I realized it was a BED BUG!! I quickly called the front desk, the employee apologized and offered me another room. I packed up got my children and declined the room, he understood and said I would receive a full refund. The next day I called to speak to a manager and there was not a manager available and was told a manager would contact me later that day or on Monday. Monday came and no call. I called again and spoke to a manager Anthony. He had no apology and no reason why he hadn't called me. There was no intention to refund or fix the bed bug problem as there are other reviews about bed bugs on the same floor are reported. The management here does not care. Over a week later and still no resolution or contact from management. Don't risk your health here!

The staff made up for any downfalls that the hotel may have had. They were super pleasant and quick to respond to any request. The room is clean. The only downfall would be the handicap roll in shower. Looks like somebody had ripped out an old tub and put it in a walk-in shower there so water came out of it onto the floor easily. We still rate it a five because of the staff.

The young man who checked us in was the most friendly front desk staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. He was extremely helpful even to the point of offering to help with luggage. I did not get his name it was evening of 11/6.

When we arrived, two employees were just outside the entrance smoking, but, they greeted us with smiles. Breakfast was ok, more options of fruit would be nice. The breakfast staff kept the area clean and food choices full. Our hotel in Kansas on Midland Dr. was very unpleasant, hotel needs a complete remodel, outside was dirty with cigarette butts, bushes not cut, inside all carpets were stained and dirty as well as our room, fixtures were stained and broken, bathroom door would not close, elevator broken, ice machine broken.We won’t stay there again.The employees were friendly.

The first room we were put in (junior suite with pull out bed) had blood on the bed comforter when we checked in… they moved us to another room with a full size bed, that wasn’t going to work with 2 adults and a child and not what we paid for…. We settled for 2 Queen beds and was told we would be reimbursed the difference of the rooms or comp a free night and have yet to hear anything back from the hotel and it’s been almost 10 days.

Parking was ok the hotel is located behind a car dealership. The sign for the hotel is almost hidden and dimly lit. We were there for an extended stay and wasn’t told that they only clean and resupply the rooms every 3 days. Had to go downstairs to get clean towels daily. There are no coffee pots in the rooms the only coffee is down stairs in the lobby. When I confronted the staff they said that all the issues were due to company policy, they seemed like they were used to the complaints, and seemed depressed about the “company’s” policies. I will not stay there again.
