Less than expected

Over promised and under delivered. Process of sending photos prior to stay was a PIA. Lack of elevator was never disclosed. Keypad didn’t work, so had to use physical keys; plenty of drama in securing the keys. Promised to send handyman when requested on 1st day of stay, but didn’t show up until last day (and poor communications, so we weren’t there to let him in!) No water pressure or hot water in one shower and dirty hallway. Area undergoing gentrification, so some cool restaurants and shops. Yet, unit was clean and comfortable. Windows allowed plenty of great light and location was a plus.

Great location, horrible smell

The location of the condo was excellent, easy to access and great options around it. The second you open the door you are greeted with low budget furniture and decor, but what you notice first is the smell. Wow does that place have a smell! I honestly couldn’t describe what the smell is besides horrible and overpowering. We chose to continue our stay because relocating when we were only using it for a place to sleep seemed like a big hassle. Once you’re inside, you do adjust and stop noticing it - but it’s very noticeable when you get there. We even tried Lysol. Another downside is the water pressure. The water pressure was seriously lacking. At check in we were provided an incorrect door code, and trying to get a new one standing in the cold was frustrating but manageable. Overall the location is great, the place is adequate, but the smell is a deal breaker.

Horrible, unsafe experience

We are 100% certain someone unauthorized was in our unit while we were out, and left a window open (which we had no ability to open ourselves). CozySuites refused to believe us, or do anything about it besides offer us a different place to stay the following night at 10pm. By then, we'd already found alternative accommodations and had requested a partial refund (2 out of 3 nights). After multiple follow-up attempts, poorly written responses from their team that they were sending our request to their "back end team", they offered us a measly $100 refund. This is wildly insufficient. Beyond our unsafe experience, we were also disappointed to find an odd smell upon check-in, an old/dirty carpet throughout the unit, a refrigerator that smelled like fish, and slimy shower floors. The pictures looked OK, and the reviews were positive, so we were quite disappointed with our experience. Perhaps had they taken our report seriously, or been at all reasonable in their reservation or support processes (I was on hold for over 25 minutes without a single check-in from the rep), this review would not be so direct. But each chance we gave them to recover was missed so we will absolutely avoid CozySuites moving forward. I suggest you do as well.

Family get together

Great location, easy walking to restaurants and shops. 2 parking spots right under unit were great. The unit was clean and comfortable for our family of 8. Had great communication with host. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely use again.
