The Hens Haven, 2 bd Broadripple Bungalow

Welcome to the Hens Haven! this classic bungalow located in SoBro does a perfect job of blending the old charm and character of an old house (yes, I have squeaky old hardwood floors, but it's worth it, I promise) with all of the modern day comforts to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the lovely front porch, or a glass of wine in the evening in the backyard with the fun and entertaining chickens. My home has been comfortably furnished with mostly "reclaimed" or hand-me-down furniture and handmade pieces, as well as fresh paint throughout, giving it a clean, simple, and relaxing feel.

My goal is to provide you with all of the comforts of home while you are traveling to help make your stay in Indianapolis grand. You will enjoy the large kitchen to prepare a quick lunch or a delicious dinner. There is a separate dining room with plenty of space for all of your guests, but you might also prefer to dine on the back patio and enjoy the yard when the weather is nice. There are two lovely bedrooms that are adorned with handmade headboards from reclaimed wood and re-purposed furniture painted with environmentally friendly chalk paint. Common living areas include the bright and cheery living room with a relaxed feel and slip covered couches, and the finished daylight basement stocked with games. There are 2 full bathrooms (one with tub shower) with all of the basic necessities provided for you. I also provide a pack n play and high chair for the convenience of those traveling with little ones. WiFi is provided so you can keep up with the day to day requirements of work.

There are Chickens at The Hens Haven! If the girls are laying, I will leave fresh eggs! Please see additional information about the chickens in my house manual!
