Fun in the desert.

Enjoyed our stay in Bermuda Dunes and we’re very happy with a clean, well organized home with lots of extras—good coffee and tea, nice kitchen appliances and silverware, dishes, etc. Friendly living area. Nice backyard with pool and jacuzzi. We had a slight issue with getting the jacuzzi going but the owner quickly resolved and we enjoyed a good soak in a hot spa. Nice amenities throughout the home. You can tell the owner cares about providing good experience. Located in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay there again.

Perfect desert get away for family or friends

First, Marc was very accommodating & had excellent communication! He responded quickly and helped us with any questions or concerns we had. The house was very cute and clean with comfortable places to sleep. The backyard was absolutely incredible! We enjoyed floating in the pool and hot tub & playing corn hole that they provided in the backyard. Despite other ratings we’ve read, we did not feel uncomfortable with the camera in the backyard & the ring camera in the front at all. We felt like we had a private oasis in the backyard. The house had everything you could need for cooking and entertainment. It was also great to have many parking options. We would definitely stay here again.

A DESSERT OASIS!

Bermuda Dunes far exceeded our expectations. This home was perfect for our getaway in Paradise. Beautifully remodeled and decorated, the furnishings were comfy, especially the beds. The open floor plan was perfect for enjoying the new kitchen with high end appliances. The owner thought of every detail right down to a lovely coffee bar with every option for brewing coffee and tea. But truly our favorite part was the back yard, totally private and perfectly set up to enjoy the sun, yet trees and patio for shade. We and our dog were in heaven! The new pool and spa are glorious. The spa is especially nice in the evening under the stars. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. They have a local handy man who came immediately when we had an issue with the garbage disposal. We really hated to leave…but we will be back!

Beautiful house with high creep factor.

The house and the pool are as shown in the photos. What is not shown or disclosed is the outside surveillance camera that covers the pool, spa and much of the yard. This camera is not disclosed in the listing and there are no signs posted that a camera is active. The camera was active during my families use of the backyard, spa and pool. My sister stopped by for a visit with her pug. On the final day, the owner text about "3rd dog" on the property which was the confirmation that he was watching us. Additionally, while the pool and spa are pretty, they are 100% remotely controlled by the owner. The renter has to text in advance to get the lights, heat and spa bubbles. In other words, no spontaneous decision to take a morning spa. There is a separate pool heating charge. Unlike usual rentals, when you pay the additional charge, these owners only turn on the pool heat between 8am-5pm each day. This means the pool cools down over night, so the pool has to heat back up and is really only warm around 1pm. I am giving this property only two stars (something I have never done on VRBO). While it is a beautiful and clean house, the controlling nature of the owners and the undisclosed surveillance distracted from our enjoyment. One final note, when I complained to the owner he text a veiled threat to charge "extra dog fee" for my two dogs even though prior to rental agreement, he agreed in writing to both of them. So if you do decide to rent, get everything in writing.
