「Excellent location, friendly and accommodating staff」

「This hotel is newly renovated and is possibly the nicest hotel in Juneau. The new owners put a lot into this. Rooms are spacious. All counters, desks headboard were handmade with locally sources lumber. Beds are comfy. Nice little kitchenette in each room. I would definitely stay here again and you should too.」

「From check in to checkout our experience there was phenomenal. They were super receptive on the phone to answer questions about their shuttle service. We even had to do a very early morning shuttle at 3 AM for our flight and they accommodated that early time AND included offering us homemade breakfast burritos to take with us because we would be missing the continental breakfast. 「Missing blinds on the window coverings. Hole in the bedroom door. Room did not appear to have been cleaned well. Front desk could not find our reservation and when he did told us our room was on the second floor inside. Had to return to the front desk to find out it was outside on the first floor. Paid for a room with two beds. Received a room with one queen bed. Entire property needs a face lift. Expect more for $350 per night.」

「There is absolutely nothing unique about this property whatsoever. There is no in-room coffee maker, no continental breakfast, very RARELY is the front desk staffed, the window coverings in the rooms are in dire need of replacing, housekeeping is by request only and then only if the message gets passed on. 「They have lots of parking and a shuttle service. The staff is pretty good and they try to keep the place clean. This is our third stay there and each time there are facility issues. The restaurant and pool have been closed off for years. This time one elevator was down and both rooms we had were without a working hair dryer. Missing window screens, safes that no longer function, and dripping faucets have become normal here. The fish freezers still work which is one of the reasons we stayed here...

「We chose the ocean view side, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Each room has a picture window. Every morning before you would go out or every evening before you would come back, magnificent views would be waiting for you. What an enjoyable and relaxing experience from the comfort of your room!
