“My family is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so this style of cabin-life is normal to us. We have a log cabin, ourselves. First of all, the owners were extremely friendly and very kind to our three children. Our youngest got very muddy on a hike and they let us use the laundry facilities (during their cleaning hours) to make sure he had dry shoes.
