    "Victoria View" is a beautifully appointed 2-room vacation rental apartment of 40 m2, located on the 3rd floor and welcoming a maximum capacity of 2 guests. The property was fully renovated in 2015 and features tasteful furnishings throughout, offering a bright and comfortable atmosphere. The living and dining area spans 20 m2 and includes a dining table, providing an inviting space for relaxing and sharing meals. From this room, you have direct access to a small balcony of 8 m2, furnished with balcony furniture and offering a very beautiful view of the mountains and the resort. The apartment comprises 1 double bedroom of 12 m2, equipped with 1 French bed measuring 160 cm in width and 200 cm in length. The property includes 1 bathroom configured as a shower and WC. An open kitchen is integrated into the living space and is fully equipped for your convenience.

    The apartment is thoroughly equipped to ensure a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. The open kitchen features an oven, a dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, a microwave, and an electric coffee machine, providing everything needed to prepare meals with ease. This stay was wonderful and fit our needs perfectly! Interlaken was our central stay to travel through many areas of Switzerland and it was a good location. Plenty of food and shopping nearby and the train station was only a 10 minute walk away for easy transportation. Apartment was just as described and communication was great by the host!

The apartment was very nice and location was very good for being centered to both Lakes and train stations and the town. I struggled after booking with communicating with the actual property manager as booking through Expedia put me thru another third party for payment only. Only after I had paid in full did they give me access to an email address to the property manager. Finally once at the property I was also able to communicate via WhatsApp. So communication was really the only problem.

We loved the apartment in 2019 when we first stayed there. Our return booking for 2020 was postponed due to the Covid pandemic and was rescheduled for August 2021. The apartment had all the features we required and gave us a lovely view from our balcony across the Hohe Matte towards the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel. Only a few minutes walk to the town centre and both train stations, it is conveniently located to catch the boats and sail around both Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, as well as journeying by train into the mountains to visit the Eiger/Monch/Jungfrau and also the Schilthorn and, my own favourite place, the Lauterbrunnen valley. We will return to holiday in the Bernese Oberland in the future and look forward to staying at the Victoria View apartment again when we do.
