The Pine Martens came every night for the jam butties and eggs we put out for them. We even saw a Golden Eagle flying overhead. Walk down the path towards the Castle and there are seals on the rocks. Paula could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Sorry we could only stay for a week .”

“We had a week here in September (10-17th) and loved every minute. We saw otters from the shore one day and did walks in every direction from the house. The weather treated us quite kindly and we managed to be outdoors for a good part of each day without getting (too!) wet. The house was so comfortable and well set up it was always a pleasure to return to. We slept so well too…all the fresh air and a super comfy bed. A great location for exploring Skye and the Glenelg area too.”

“Property was not cleaned when we arrived, filthy oven and mouse droppings in beds. Property owner arranged full clean gave us a 4x4experience and 30% refund. Happy with their response, staff fantastic but won’t be visiting again.”

“We stayed in the farmhouse. It takes you time to travel down the road, but encounters with the highland cows and the views will make your trip an adventure. The B&B and farmhouse are well comfortably furnished, clean and well kept. The management is friendly and offers great advice for walks and day-trips. The food is wholesome and gives comfort after a great hike. You will have your pick on routes for a hike from 2 up to 8 hours. And none are the same, the landscape is spectacular and can……

“Large spacious and cosy house. Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities.”

“This a beautiful location right near the ocean. We could sit on the porch and watch the sunset over the mountains and ocean. The apartment was well stocked and smelled amazing. We LOVED the bathroom. Perfect romantic getaway!!!”
