“Very friendly. Rooms were great. Options for dining and shopping”

“The hotel was just beautiful inside and out, but I do not like the location where it was at in the middle of a neighborhood in front of a park with a skate ramp. People hanging out at the skate ramp people coming and going in and out of the park, I didn’t care for that. No I would not stay there again. I would go back to Tawas Bay resort .”

“Had a great time!”

“The employee that checked us in was pleasant. The room was basic but clean-ish. I say that because yes, the toilet and sink were clean but around the light switches, floor corners, door handles etc were dirty. Not a deal breaker, just noticed. The room had a fridge, microwave and plug ins for electronics. Overall, a decent room for the price. Would stay there again,at this time of year. Im sure during the summer the price might be higher and then it wouldnt be worth it to me.”

“New Owners. My unit was probably revamped very recently. Nice. Basic, clean, safe area. Just what this solo female was looking for. A good stay.”

“We came to see our grandchildren for the night. Unfortunately we were unable to stay longer. But we will definitely be coming back. John made check-in and out very easy. Cabi. Was very clean and location was beautiful!”

“We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. Our issues started at check-in when our entry code failed, and no one answered the phone, forcing us to communicate solely via text. Upon entry, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana, the bedroom closet door was broken, and a ceiling fan blade was hanging……

“My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Sam, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Truly a perfect stay. We can’t wait to……

“I sent my parents up here while we stayed at old Orchard campground. They loved it. We will be back.”

“Absolutely a great place to say. We had so much fun. The cabin was very clean and freshly remodeled. We will definitely be staying here again.”

“I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a……

“Wonderful property, close enough to town, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.”

“I always enjoy my stay at Lazy Fish, the location and view can't be beat and I love that bringing the dog along is an option there. Tim and Nancy are great with communication and were helpful when we left charcoal for the grill at home. The cabins are older but I can see the updates every year. It has everything needed for a short stay in this unit.”
