The hotel is small but absolutely charming. The reception sets the tone with it’s quirky decor that continues into the bedroom. An excellent choice close to old town for as one night stay. Very welcoming owner and advise on how best to use our time. We booked the suite excellent facilities for the price point… room could do with some TLC decor wise but was very clean.

Good standard of hotel with breakfast included however although it is small and compact i would not call this a boutique. I had an issue on check in as the receptionist insisted on a cash payment for the new local tourist tax. As it wasnt a massive amount and I was tired i just paid it however on review it looks like expedia had collected this tax already. TBF apart from this, the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Very good strategic location near to old town but 10 minutes walking distance aparted. So that hotel is quiet enough. Reception manager who looks owner family was very friendly and kind. Quick response for several requests. Strong recommendation.

The bedrock hotel is a great place to stay and Debbie the manager and all the staff are wonderful. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast was really nice. Good choice of western and Malaysian and buffet. If you visit Ipoh this is the place to stay
