“Our stay was very good. The river is very shallow, fishing is really nonexistent at this time of year. The area is very remote, travel times for a large grocery store is over 35 minutes. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Just be aware. The cabin is cute with WiFi that is solid. Small bar and grill five minutes away.Pet friendly policy is much appreciated.”

“We had such a wonderful time at this little spot of heaven! It is furnished with all the comforts of home, including a completely stocked pantry and freezer. We made a game out of finding things that the property didn't have...the list was short! The host was very responsive to questions, and accommodating. It was close to a lot of fun activities, but access to the private lake, hot tub and a fenced in yard for the dog made leaving quite unnecessary. We will be back!”

“Overall great place to stay. Very clean. Only issue I had was not receiving check in info and the house could probably use air bonding upstairs, it was very warm up there. There are adequate fans though. Other than that I would definitely stay again.”

“Everything about this home was ideal. This house had above grade pans-which if you stay at a fair number of vacation rentals you know is fairly unusual! The fridge was huge! The bedrooms were comfy and I felt so lucky to be sleeping under the skylights during a thunderstorm! I LOVED the deep soaking tub- perfect after a long day on the dunes. We were near everything we needed- and Manistee is a well equipped town too. Having coffee out on the deck in the morning was a peaceful start to our day.……
