“Super, super cute mid-century mod renovated cozy house, walking distance to many things in Colonial Beach. Located just off the main road, this is a great stay. Very comfortable, so beautifully decorated, and great outdoor space. The neighborhood is a little strange because it's a mix of a lot of older homes, located behind a 7-11, BUT it is just a humble area and we felt safe. “This property worked great for our group. Everyone had their own bathroom, and we gave the guest house to our son and his wife who were celebrating their anniversary. The kayaks were great, wish we could have used them more. But the weather didn’t cooperate. Loved exploring Old Town Alexandria! The deck was great for evening chats once it wasn’t so hot. We also loved the bird activity! Saw 2 bald eagles!”

“Better than we expected!!! This was a last minute (literally) after we had booked a different property a couple of months ago. That property fell through the day before we were scheduled to arrive. Props to Karen (host) and VRBO for helping us save the trip. We were asked what we thought could be done to make the listing more representative of the house. Can’t really think of anything specific, other than to read the reviews. In our opinion, the property was perfect!!”

“The host was very responsive and interacted well. The house was perfect for my event. I was able to host a family celebration for a graduation. It was the perfect amount of space for everyone to be comfortable. The only issue was the heating and cooling system but as mention earlier the host was so responsive it never became a big issue.
