"The lake and mountain views were worth the price alone. The Ryokan itself is very beautiful and traditional, the tatami and sliding paper doors made it feel like we had gone back in time. The onsen is nice and note that it is for separate male and female, so if you want to share the experience with family or partner you may not be able to. The restaurant was great with good service and meal options. The staff were so attentive and looked after us well.

"We enjoyed this hotel. It had a great location close to the train station and lots of shopping. It's a bit of a journey getting to downtown Tokyo, but we knew that when we booked it. We were visiting people and places close by, and the hotel worked out great for us. "
