「Beautiful cabin on a very peaceful quiet lake. The use of the canoes was great, and we were able to take a canoe and kayak to a boundary waters drip in point and spend the day in BWCA. A great introduction to it for our kids. We saw fireflies, grouse, beaver, and heard wolves. It was a phenomenal week. 」

「The guy was very helpful and even checked in on us before leaving for the night. The expedia website is not clear about everything and it was a challenge for my daughter who just had surgery. The staff and manager did try to make things right. 」

「It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. But outside of that (again, very minor) this place was truly a little slice of...

Our kids enjoyed the fire pit and looking through the books about Minnesota while relaxing in the living room. There is so much to do nearby, we explored several state parks. We would definitely stay here again! 」

「This cabin is very cozy, and conveniently located just 10 minutes from Ely. The best part of our stay was fishing off the dock - we caught lots of panfish and several sizable bass! It's very nice this property offers an aluminum canoe, kayak and paddles for use on the lake.」

「We came up for Grandma’s Marathon and stayed for a bit to take in the North Shore. The property was great - it is actually the third time we have stayed there. 」

「If you're looking for a location that is close to all of the cute things in this area of the world, but still private and quiet, this is an ideal location. I traveled with my sister and we got to have lots of late night talking while also laughing at rorously where we disturbed no one. The sauna was a real treat.」
