"The staff, Flavia is a sweetheart, very helpful and kind. She even helped carry our luggage, explained in great detail how everything works and even gave us historic background on the building itself as well as great places to eat and offered to get us tickets and a private taxi to show us around. Ana at the complementary breakfast is wonderful, ready to get us whatever we need, made me fresh eggs to order, very pleasant and kind. The room was amazing everything worked perfect, ice cold air...

Grifo Hotel Charme & SPA

"What a wonderful hotel! Where do I begin? This hotel is absolutely beautiful and so clean. It is perfectly located near the port with a free shuttle bus service included in the price. The service was our highlight. The staff could not have been more attentive- particularly Michaele, Antonio, Enzo and Valentina. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! The pool and spa were fabulous too. We had massages and facials which I highly recommend. The staff are well trained and professional at all times. We have travelled all over the world and we rate this hotel a 5 star+ The food in the restaurant was excellent and a must when you are there! "What a find. A few minutes walk from the port. The desk staff, were excellent. Very welcoming, super friendly. As for location, this is it. You have a line if busy evening restaurants out front, a street back it gets even better. Minutes walk to everything. I had considered staying down toward the island castle, glad I didnt. Quiet, pricey and you'd end up coming up to this area. As a frequent traveller, thumbs up!"

"This was a fantastic stay The breakfast each morning was amazing and the dining room had an amazing selection of food for lunch and dinners with spectacular views of the water. The staff was always available to help with any requests and arranged for an incredible boat trip around the island. I would definitely come back."

"We loved our stay in a suite for 3 Nights. The hotel grounds are gorgeous with flowers and lit paths and our suite was incredible. The thermal pools are lovely ( the swim caps take some time to get used to for non Italians). The hotel shuttle we booked was bumpy and I would not recommend It. The driver spoke no English and we had to sort a way to figure out where he was parked at the airport. Then when we arrived at the port, a driver put our luggage in the truck, demanded a voucher for the transfer to the hotel (which we did not have) and then took our luggage off the truck and left us at the port. We texted the hotel and someone else came and got us. He proceeded to loudly make fun of my family to the other passengers in Italian and dropped off people at random locations before we finally got to our hotel. Not what i was expecting for 55/pp premium transfer. However, the pool bar staff and Vickie at the front desk were outstanding and made our stay awesome. I was worried as the hotel doesn’t communicate through Expedia (how we booked) and via email demanded I pay a deposit via a link. I refused and the hotel staff didn’t seem to know about the emails so their website may be easily compromised. The hotel isn’t close to restaurants or shopping however the bus system is easily accessed. The beach is accessible by a path or shuttle from the hotel."

"Perfect location easy walking with suit cases from ferry port to hotel no crazy hills . Quick 10 minute walk easy to find , pool was wonderful the beach in front was great & clean . Food at beach was delicious. Lots of great stores walking distance . The free breakfast here was perfect not crappy .. close to bus to travel . I would stay here again"
