“This hotel meets the needs but that's about it. It was clean though not as convenient as they advertise. The shower is extremely slippery. The staff is not very friendly although they will suggest restaurants and call a cab when one is leaving for the airport. It is not a place to stay when visiting Naples, just a place to stay the night before a flight out. The neighborhood doesn't look like it but there are some good restaurants just down the street. “I chose this location for its views, balcony and ratings as a romantic location to celebrate a very significant wedding anniversary. The hotel and staff delivered a mixed experience. While spacious enough and clean, the rooms were not necessarily aligned with the room rates. Some aspects were excellent and recently renovated, while others were a little tired. Location not the best if you DON’T do your research ahead of time. -But if you can figure out how to purchase bus tickets in downtown Sorrento at a tobacco shop first, then it is only about 8 minutes from the city center. I was shocked to find out that taxi cabs cost anywhere from 40-70 euro for such a short distance. “How wonderful it was to open the curtains in the morning and look out and see the sea panorama of Ischia Naples, Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento all in one sweep. That alone was worth staying here, but in addition, the room was comfortable. The facility was clean and charming. Only mention is our room had a tub set up only and was a little slippery tricky to get in and out for a shower. The staff were superb and helpful at every turn.
