Property was very clean and pretty quiet. The roof top bar was hardly ever open and what restaurants were walkable closed early. We had a plunge pool room and that was the best decision we made as it was in close proximity to the main pool, bar and restaurant and steps onto the beach and into the ocean. It was also warmer than the main pool for this time of year. The beach is small but nice. The water is clear but it is kinda muddy and very shallow. Food was decent for an all inclusive. The most memorable part of our stay was breakfast with our waiter Martin! Hands down the BEST!!!!! Always ask for him!

The staff are incredible and the food is incredible. With all inclusive options it’s hit or miss. Izla hotel chef’s offer a culinary experience and you can tell they take pride in the food and service they provide. My second year going and I will go back every year because of how wonderful this place is.

Es un hotel hermoso , pero la atencion al cliente no es buena , no dejaban toallas limpias , habian demoras en el servicio , una pena que un hotel tan hermoso este tan mal administrado , por esa razon no lo recomiendo

Izla is a very clean, quiet, and peaceful place. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms were very spacious, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and relaxing. At one point we even had the pool all to ourselves, which was a huge plus. The staff was very attentive throughout our stay. We opted for the all-inclusive since we were looking for a romantic getaway and didn’t want to leave the property, and overall it was worth it. Breakfast was okay, dinner was great, snacks were good, and the drinks were also great. The beach area was quiet and felt private, which we really appreciated since we were trying to get away from the crowds. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because check-in was delayed by almost 3 hours. Our room wasn’t ready until close to 6 PM instead of the scheduled 3 PM due to housekeeping delays. Overall, this place is amazing, private, and very clean. We would definitely consider staying again.

The entire resort was extremely clean, all of the staff was very friendly, helpful, so happy we were there. The service at the restaurant and at the bar was excellent. The staff truly enjoyed working there, you could tell. The food was excellent. Our rooms were quiet, the pool was clean and the water warm. We enjoyed everything about our stay here! We will definitely come back again!

Izla Hotel is well away from the hustle and bustle of the North End so it it mostly quiet and relaxing. You will need a golf cart to experience the Island. Ice Bear Bar is almost directly next door and attracts over 1,000 people a day, but they mostly stay at the bar and its beach. The staff at Izla are great, Dario the doorman is always quick with a smile and great advice on where to go for the day. Rejes at the pool bar makes everyone feel better and knows your name by the 3rd drink. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is large with a great balcony with a couch. We did not end up with the all-inclusive, which we were thankful for, as the island has so many great restaurants and coffee shops, get a golf cart and go explore! If you do buy drinks or food on resort, expect to pay more than in the States, it was usually almost double the cost of the rest of the island and always included the tip. Only the beachside restaurant ever opened the 10 days we were there with the same menu and breakfast buffet but they did have dinners on the beach and special dinners for Christmas and New Years which were extra. The beach is clean but you cant go in the water as the bottom is all mud. There is also not a lot of walking room from the resort if you like long beach walks. We enjoyed the rooftop pool as it was a little warmer and had amazing views of the turquoise waters and Cancun. All in all we enjoyed our stay but will find something else our next time.

Room stunk like a mixture of mold and sewer no one understands English . Came a few hours early asked if room was available for check in which it wasn’t, was told to come back at 3 (normal check in time) and still wasn’t ready say around lobby for a while about 30 mins until they finally changed my room completely and put me in a different one

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue promedio, diría que me quedó a deber. En primer lugar tuve que esperar dos horas para que me dieran mi habitación al check in. Para alcanzar toallas para alberca casi nunca había. Y el colmo fue cuando pedí cambio de toallas en la habitación, hicieron el aseo y no dejaron ninguna toalla, ni para manos. Las solicité varias veces al concierge , bajé a recepción y me dieron excusa que el Ferry no llegó con las toallas. De verdad de no creer ese esta excusa. Y nunca llegaron las toallas, sin disculpa ni nada e hice el check out y jamás ofrecieron disculpa y ni siquiera se molestaron en preguntar por mi estancia. No sé si era la temporada, pero estaban rebasados, pero lo que más vi es la poca actitud de servicio del personal, a excepción de algún mesero o mesera, el personal con poca actitud de servicio al huésped. Las habitaciones si estaban bien, amplias y con los servicios salvo el tema de las toallas. La alberca súper fría y ni meterse, y el área de playa feita. La comida aceptable.

The staff is rude, unprofessional, non organized. Through our stay the hospitality was horrible. For snack bar on the beach it took over an hour to get our food our waiter Reyes was rude and only giving us excuses and he even kicked the bar stand out of frustration. Also the bar man Virgilio ignored us for drinks. We were also not informed we had to reserve dinner and beach tables for New Years Eve, we felt casted out as hotel guests. We spoke to the manager that the front desk told us it was general public for the beach area to celebrate New Years Eve, we were kicked out by staff. The manager came to set us up a table and he never returned and passed us a few times through the night and ignored us. For breakfast the waiters ignored us asking them multiple times for simple stuff like silverware, also if you pay in cash, you have to go to the hotel front desk because they don’t have a cashier. Also, my mother in law fell down the ramp outside of the breakfast cafe and they brushed it off and only gave her pain relief cream. They need to have grips on their ramps so people won’t slip. Overall it was a horrible stay and dealing with the staff was frustrating. For a being a 4 star hotel it felt like a 2 star.

La experiencia en general fue aceptable, aunque con varios puntos a mejorar. Los alimentos cumplen: bien preparados y correctos, sin ser memorables. Los meseros, en términos generales, son amables; sin embargo, es evidente una preferencia en el servicio hacia los huéspedes extranjeros frente a los mexicanos. Esto se nota en los tiempos de respuesta, la calidad de la atención y el nivel de seguimiento, lo cual genera una experiencia desigual y poco profesional. Las habitaciones están bien, limpias y funcionales. La alberca resulta demasiado fría, lo que limita su disfrute. El mar tenía mucha alga, algo que afecta considerablemente la experiencia de playa. Las bebidas son de baja calidad, con poco sabor y opciones limitadas, por debajo de lo esperado para un hotel de este nivel. En resumen, el hotel tiene buen potencial, pero necesita mejorar la consistencia del servicio, elevar la calidad de las bebidas y, sobre todo, ofrecer un trato equitativo a todos los huéspedes, independientemente de su nacionalidad. Un buen servicio no distingue pasaportes.

Our room was gorgeous. Ground floor walkout with plunge pool walk 40 feet and your in the turquoise water of the Caribbean ocean. The staff would always greet you with a friendly smile and by the second day they called you by name the specialty dinner on the beach was fantastic. We had to special thanks to Ephraim for arranging a wonderful meal, both nights Reves in the pool bar along with his staff were wonderful lots of laughs around the bar top for sure
