"When you first arrive and explore the property, you can tell that it is a well designed cabin and tastefully decorated. The design choices made by the hosts make the best use of the space and the amenities reminded me of a line my friend always uses- “It’s all about the details!”. They certainly make an effort to provide those items you didn't know you needed until you get there.You can find all the basics you will need in the kitchen. There is plenty of outdoor furniture (adult and kid size) that can easily be moved if you want to sit by the firepit or move closer to the shore. There is lots of flat ground perfect for yard games. The weather didn't allow us to utilize many of the outdoor amenities, but I can see where young families would really enjoy the yard and boathouse for various activities. Little traffic on the local roads makes for nice walks with your pup. Fishing was good. Husband caught walleye, bass and sunfish. A public landing is only about 2 1/2 miles away. There are lots of bait stores in Chetek and the staff at each are very friendly and more than happy to give you directions and the 411 on the fishing.Even though the weather was iffy and our stay was only 3 nights, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. As a retired couple with their dog, we reveled in the quiet atmoshere of our stay. But if you were to send me back in time 25 years we would have happily taken our three kids and dog here to spend a few days."

"This was our sixth consecutive year at Salisbury Lake. The lake is peaceful and right outside the back door, which makes it convenient for fishing and water activities. The house is clean and well stocked. Communication is easy. We did have an issue with getting into the house on arrival but it was resolved quickly. We love this place and have already booked for 2027."

"We love this house and the obviously chef-equipped kitchen. The location is wonderful, that is if you enjoy seeing numerous deer, wild turkeys, and the large bunny who lives in the back yard. We highly recommend the property and the owners!"

"I'm sorry to say the water smelled bad so we used botteled water and the Wi-Fi was pretty much non existant so we used our phones. Other than that, location and fishing were great, right along with the weather."
