INCREDIBLE!!!!!

This house literally has it all. I feel like the owner thought of everything her large family would need and customized the home to make it perfect for a big group of families to need for nothing and have the best environment for kids too. The basement play area was clutch for 7 kids and sleeping all upstairs in the giant loft was perfect. The location is breathtaking and only a short drive to Yellowstone. I would come back here on repeat!! Best vrbo we have ever stayed in!!!

Yellowstone visit

Could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Party of 7 had plenty of space. Everything was just as described and beautiful. Would definitely recommend it and repeat a stay!

Amazing place!!

This place was amazing!!! We did a girls hiking trip with 6 moms. We all had plenty of space! The house was gorgeous and so clean!! It had plenty of extra pillows and blankets, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the views were amazing!! We would all definitely stay here again 😊

First Yellowstone Vacation

The images of this property do not come close to its beauty! The views are spectacular & we thoroughly enjoyed them daily! The house is clean and fully stocked! The basement game room is a BLAST and it was hard to get the kids out of there! Conveniently, Each room has its own bathroom and the upstairs loft was perfect for our kids to have week long fun sleepover! Our group of 13 was very comfortable! The property is in a beautiful community- we experienced a ton of wildlife all around while being only 20 minutes from the town of West Yellowstone. Thank you for sharing your amazing cabin with us and for our wonderful memories! We hope to visit again!

Amazing home, Amazing view, Amazing host

I booked this home for a weekend getaway with some friends. House was easy to find and very spacious. The view from the floor to ceiling windows is amazing. It overlooks Henry’s Lake with amazing sunrises over the lake. The ping pong table, pool table, and air hockey table made for an eventful night of games and competition. The host was very easy to deal with and was even able to get us a day we weren’t originally booked for. Some of us had online work or homework to do and the internet was insanely fast. Almost 40 mbps. At the end of the night we all sat down and watched a movie on the 65” TV with plenty of room on the huge sectional couches. Almost every bedroom in the entire house has its own bathroom so everyone had plenty of privacy. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

The view is the best part - Henry’s lake and the snow capped mountains nearby. House is well lived in- possibly a home that the owners often use - their pictures are thru out the house- strange we thought. The low score is because of a problem that we encountered 3 times. The day we arrived and each time when we came home after sightseeing all day- to find the code would not work. After 3 tries we think it locks up ! After a short time it unlocks. The final night after we’re were home from sightseeing all day - it was raining and the 8 of us were standing in the rain trying to get in. It was VERY DISAPPOINTING ! We called the phone number given to us for issues and it was after 6 pm so of course they were closed. The second time we called a not so friendly man said he would have the owners open remotely but he didn’t know how long that would be….He argued that we pushed the wrong code in ?? We did not. Finally it was unlocked remotely. They need a new door code lock. This should not happen - been to many vrbos and never had an issue. The kitchen had a big dining table which was perfect for the 8 of us, plenty of supplies for cooking.There is no covered parking - no garage. It hiked one night so not good ! The teenagers loved the pool table and ping pong - they called it the man cave!

Super stay at Gone Fish Inn

Everything was perfect, we would like to rate this log cabin as 4.75 / 5. The location is perfect, the beautiful lake behind and the huge snow covered mountains gave a perfect serene atmosphere and a wonderful feeling of a true vacation. Our friends and their families, in total of 14 adults and teenagers had a blast in the log cabin with the 4 good sized bedrooms and all the bunk beds in the first floor overlooking the huge kitchen and the living room. The kitchen was wonderful with all the amenities, appliances and the utensils and we spent a lot of wonderful time cooking, eating and drinking. The basement with the ping pong table, snooker table was an additional entertainment. It would have been better if the restrooms had exhaust fans in them. Also, we could not enjoy the TV as we could not find the remote. But overall the 4 bed room, 6 bath log cabin with almost 8-10 bunk beds is good enough for 15 to 20 guests. The living room space with huge sofas and tables is really good, the portico outside on all 4 sides is also beautiful. The check in and check out process was pretty easy. This is also very near, about 20 mins away from the west entrance of the Yellowstone park, we have enjoyed it a lot and definitely recommend it to others.

Family Vacation 2022

The Gone Fish Inn was a wonderful experience for our family to gather — each bedroom has its own private bathroom which was a great feature - the Mountain View was breathtaking - large open space for gathering and the game room downstairs provided some friendly competition! Easy access into the property and very easy to find - close to Island Park & West Yellowstone, the hosts were very responsive and helpful! The pictures on the site made it seem that hiking trails were in the back yard, you do have to drive a short distance for the trail head - we rented side by sides and explored Sawtell Mountain and Cliff & Wade Lakes — breathtaking views — thanks for the memories !

Amazing Views

We flew into Bozeman and traveled the 2 hours south to the cabin. There are multiple routes with great scenery. At the cabin, it has all the comforts of home and more. The large windows and wrap around Porch gave you amazing views of the lake and the mountains. The location was situated just 20-25 min south of the West Yellowstone city and park entrance. Plan on bringing/getting coolers and grabbing food to have at the house or grabbing something on your way out of town after you leave the park. We made picnic lunches to have in the park every day since food was not readily accessible unless at Old Faithful. Also, bring bug spray, the mosquitoes are large and active in late June.
