28 Beachwood West is the perfect place to unwind from everyday life and elevate your Isle of Palms experience. Located just four homes from the beach, in a central location, and featuring a private pool, this charming estate offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Beach access is a breeze. Enjoy the private pool, fenced yard, sunroom, family room, multiple decks, and beautiful décor that make 28 Beachwood West one of the best properties in Wild Dunes.

This gorgeous island home boasts fabulous light, a spacious floor plan, and many upgrades. Living space is abundant! First, you will find the professionally decorated living room located on the main floor. Additional space is provided in the family room, which leads out to a bright sunroom surrounded by palm trees. The dining room seats 8 and is fantastic for formal or casual dining. Finally, the kitchen is fit for a chef, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and new white quartz countertops.

28 Beachwood West is perfect for accommodating the whole crew! Two primary suites each have a private bath. The lower-level primary bathroom was recently renovated with an all-new large walk-in shower and vanity. Two guest bedrooms each feature two twin beds and share a full bath. A half bath is also featured on the main floor.

Step outside to the terrific private backyard, which will set the scene for fun-filled days at the pool! Kick back and relax on the sun loungers surrounding, or retreat to the elevated deck located off the living room which offers a perfect view of the pool. For those seeking a bit more adventure, this home places you in a prime location. It’s only a short 2-3-minute walk to the beach and minutes to golf at its best at the Harbor Golf Course, Links Golf Course, playground, basketball court, and several restaurants. Finally, Historic Charleston is only a 35-minute drive away!

- Beach chairs/toys are not included at this property. All reservations between 4-28 nights come with a $250 beach gear credit with VaykGear.com. Guests will be able to reserve gear after booking.
- Unfortunately, pets and ESAs are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed animals are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Fireplaces are not for guest use.
- Trailers and motorcycles are not allowed inside Wild Dunes.
- Guests have access to the private pool at 28 Beachwood West, and to the cafes and restaurants at Wild Dunes. Any other amenities or recreation at Wild Dunes, including golf, tennis or the spa, must be booked separately.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.

We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Everything about this home and location was perfect for our family of 8. I had several requests prior to arriving. Communication was prompt and courteous. All was ready when we arrived just as requested. The partial shade over the pool was wonderful as it was a very hot week. Excellent location with a short, easy walk to the beach. Lots of room to spread out with different activities for games, puzzles, heading. We stayed at this house 6 years ago when it was on the market. It was a nice spot then. The new owners have made it even more comfortable and updated.

Spent 7 days at this beautiful house. Management was extremely easy to get in touch with and very considerate. Any issue we had, which was very minimal, it was quickly resolved. I would recommend this location to everyone.

While the property was nice, updated, close to the beach and generally clean (Except for the pool )- it was missing basic amenities and generally missing the mark. No beach towels , only 8 bath towels , no oven mits, short on glasses and plates , limited thermostat(70 degrees only) few pool and outdoor chairs and non functioning things in the home. It seems that the owner/ property management only wants to do the bare minimum. At this price - very disappointing.

28 Beachwood West is located in a quaint and beautiful private community, Wild Dunes, which provides wonderful amenities, easy access to a very well kept beach, and awesome wildlife! We saw gators (from afar), turtles, and deer regularly throughout our explorations of Wild Dunes. We loved staying in this community! The property itself was very pretty. The living area, dining room, kitchen, family area, and three seasons room were fabulous! My parents, sister, brother-in-law, 2 nieces, husband, and myself had plenty of room to share these areas comfortably and we loved the decor and style! The master bedroom on the main level was very spacious. One downfall was the tile in the shower was cracked which was not very pleasant on the eyes and also made the shower seat unusable as it would pinch you if you sat down, so that could use some improvement. The property description says there are two master suites with king beds. The second suite on the second floor is not a king sized bed. It didn't even seem like a queen, so possibly a double? Also, the bathroom in this room had a broken toilet in which we had to fix the flapper several times throughout our stay even after notifying the rental company. Both bathrooms on the upper floor had windows in the shower that had grime in the corners, which wasn't great, but I just tried to ignore it for the few minutes I was showering. The showers seemed older, and didn't even have hand held shower heads, which when staying in a million dollar plus house is kind of odd, but again, not a huge deal. The yard and pool were very enjoyable. The yard is well kept. The pool was rather dirty when we arrived, but a pool company did come on Tuesday to clean it. The pool company did say there was a thin layer of algae on the pool liner, which was slightly disheartening but they took care of it and it was swimmable. The pool was also very cold. Granted, we visited mid May so it wasn't super hot, but if the pool were heated we definitely would have used it more. Also, there was outside furniture but a larger conversation set would have been nice to enjoy family dinners, or sit on the front deck. Overall, it was a nice stay, but like I said, it left some things to be desired.

First, the house is great-the private pool is awesome, and the large garage was really handy. The rooms are well appointed (the second floor rooms are a bit small, but perfectly fine for a week vacation. HOWEVER, the communication with Beachside Vacations (the property manager), was horrific. Not long after checking in, we notified them that the washing machine wouldn’t work. Didn’t take long for them to send a mechanic, who “fixed” the issue, but said that if it happens again to call. It wasn’t fixed—in fact it never even began to work after he visited. Without even coming back to the house, a part was ordered (apparently, the problem was known—how else to know what part to order?) Here’s the problem: We checked in on Saturday. We didn’t have a working washing machine until late Thursday—after days and days of delays. Never a “sorry” from the management. We were told we’d be updated on Wednesday. No call, no message. imagine taking a family beach vacation—seven people altogether, ranging from 9 to 70’s, and not having a washing machine. Great! Kids in dirty underwear, re-using workout and tennis clothing that stinks. Again, house was great, management stinks.

Loved this property! It was perfect for our group. Everyone had their own space and room to spread out. Access to the beach was easy, bike and gear rental went smoothly. One of the only challenges was the propane tank wasn't full and ran out shortly after starting to make dinner. We checked before going to be sure the tank would be full but it must have been overlooked.

My family has been to Wild Dunes many times and rented houses each time. This is by far the best place we have stayed. This very clean and beautiful house is located only a two minute walk to the beach. We loved the way the house is laid out. The master bedroom is on the first floor while the other three bedrooms are located up stairs. Perfect for our family. The house was very clean and the pool was great. The kitchen was roomy and had everything we needed. The owner of the home was very responsive to the one question I had. FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY!!!! We will definitely be back for another stay.

This was a beautiful house inside and out with a wonderful location. My wife, myself, our 2 young kids and my in-laws had a wonderful time. 1st floor master bedroom was spacious for my in-laws to sleep soundly as the rest of us slept upstairs. The beach access was right out of the front door to the left and provided easy transport for our family as sometimes it feels like getting to the beach is like packing for another vacation with 2 young toddlers. The pool was a great amenity when we didn't feel like packing for beach. The location was incredible as the IOP connector was about a 10 minute drive which could connect you to Mt. Pleasant in around 15 minutes and downtown in 25 minutes. We could not have asked for a better spot for our vacation and especially at a better time as the week of labor day everyone is back in school and done for the holiday weekend and there was minimal traffic and waiting at bars/restaurants. Advice to future renters - get a golf cart rental from Matt at IOP golf cart rentals. He drops off and picks up at your front door. Drive the Links Golf Course at Wild Dunes and visit hole#17 on the water then over to the Harbour golf course and over to Morgan Creek Grill for some food. On IOP eat at ACME, Refuge and Papis Taqueira and party at the Windjammer. Head to Sullivans Island to eat at Hometown BBQ, Mex 1 Cantina, Obstinate Daughter or Poes Tavern and around to Shem creek at Saltwater Cowboy, Vickerys or Nicos. Downtown - Edmunds Oast, Baystreet Biergarden, rooftop at The Pavillion Hotel, S.N.O.B. The children loved the Childrens Museum downtown (Aquarium pricey). Breweries - Holy City, Westbrook (kid friendly and tons of others we just didn't have time). WiFi was weak and kept going out so kids could not use tablets, yes I know we were at beach, no devices I get it....don't judge haha. But, this was my absolute only negative leaving an overall grade of 99.9%

The house was a great find. So close to the beach. Lots of space. The huge master closet was amazing! Pool. Owner was super responsive to minor issue of WiFi needing a reboot. Didn't even need to move the trash cans in or out of garage as owner arranged for that! We rented bikes and beach equipment. Perfect set up. Even with crazy weather (downpours and rain almost everyday) we had a fantastic time. Explored some of downtown Charleston, Sullivan's island, Boone hall plantation, aquarium. All easy drives from Isle of Palms. Kids loved the bingo games at Wild Dunes ( we came home with lots of prizes!). Only issue we had: master bedroom mattress not great, pool was a bit dirty(likely bc of all the rain!) grill ran out of gas on day 2. I'm Sure the owner would have replaced that if he'd known. We just worked around it (ate out more! Lol). Really great first time trip to Isle of Palms and Charleston!! So nice the owner also provided some starter items like dish soap, shampoo, soap, etc.

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. Close to beach, and the pool was great for the grandchildren. Loved the convenience of Wild Dunes and Charleston. We will return.
