「Nice hotel with good breakfast. Quiet and have a good view for our room. Need to improve hot water supply and upgrade wifi for guest rooms.」

「We stayed one night as part of a cycle around the Island. The beds were comfortable, room was warm , ample breakfast and good cycle storage. One shower had very poor pressure and a door that didn’t shut properly. No shampoo and conditioner, just a body gel / shampoo that I would use on hair. Basic and just fine. 」

「the only probem is that the heating system doesn t start befor 16.30 so you have to be cold for the rest of the time.」

「Very conveniently placed for Carisbrooke Castle but alas I was there to work at St Mary’s hospital which was a short drive away. The landlady was very friendly and helpful.」

「Lovely relaxing place to stay, good location to walk to the beach or into Shanklin and amazing views from the breakfast room, bar area and garden. Breakfasts were really tasty with a good choice of cooked and continental foods, juices and cereals. But what made our stay so special were the Hosts, Brendan and Deborah who were so welcoming, happy to recommend places to visit and eat and always ready to have a chat and a laugh – a big thank you to them and their staff.
