Auzo-eskola zaharra guztiz 2017an, berriztatua, mendi tonttorr zoragarri bat kokatuta eta arte zaharrez inguratua.
Bi kilometrotara dago Lekeitio-tik eta Bizkaia-ko golkoaren bista ederrak ditu.

Etxeak, lehen solairuan, gela haundi baten ditu batera sukaldea, jantokia eta saloia eta bi logel eta bainu bat; bigarren pisuan mezanin bat, logeala eta komun bear bat ditu.
Kampoan terrace bat hegoruntz eta Read artibaiko mendiruntz begira dauka.

Bear leku approposoa da sendi edo lagun talde batentzako, naturaz (itsasoa eta mendia) gozatzeko edo lasai Euskalherriaren altxorak aurkitzeko.

Former Basque rural school completely rehabilitated in 2017.
Located on a magical hill surrounded by centuries-old oaks, two kilometers from the fishing village of Lekeitio and overlooking the Bay of Biscay.
The house has a living room-dining room-open kitchen and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. On the second floor there is a mezzanine bedroom and a bathroom. Outside it enjoys a south-facing terrace overlooking the mountains of Lea-Artibai.

It is a perfect place for a family or group of friends who wants to enjoy nature (sea and mountains) and to discover the charms of Euskal Herria.

The house has an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor. And on the first floor a mezzanine, a bedroom and a bathroom. It has a south-facing terrace overlooking the Lea-Artibai Mountains.
This is a perfect place for a family or group of friends who want to enjoy nature (sea and mountain) and discover the treasures of the Basque Country.

Wat een fijne plek om te verblijven! Heerlijke plek om de Baskische natuur, cultuur en culinaire omgeving te ervaren. Het dorpje (Lekeitio) is een levendige plek met leuke barretjes om wat te eten en te drinken.

Der Blick aus dem unteren Schlafzimmer ist wunderbar und morgens lacht die Sonne einen an. Das Meer ist entfernt leicht zu sehen, je nach Wetterlage; davor eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf einen alten knorrigen Baum. Sehr malerisch. An Ausstattung hat uns nichts gefehlt. Alles ausreichend vorhanden und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Anne und Ihr Mann waren super freundlich und sehr entgegenkommend, hatten als kleine Willkommensgeste einen leckeren Wein kalt gestellt. Ohnehin waren beide sehr freundlich und wollen uns nochmals ausdrücklich bedanken, da wir doch etwas holprig angereist kamen und vergessen hatten, uns etwas detaillierter zeitlich anzumelden. Es war eine schöne Zeit in einem gemütlichen Heim auf Zeit.

Une très belle semaine de vacances dans un endroit charmant. Nous avons pu mélanger le plaisir de vivre à la campagne tout en étant près des endroits à visiter. À plus ou moins 1 heure de Bilbao, San Sebastian, Vitoria-Gastiez, Gaztelugatxe.La maison est très propre et accueillante, bien équipée pour cuisiner quand ça nous chante, et très plaisante à y vivre. Prendre une marche pour se rendre au très beau village de Lekeitio pour aller à la plage ou manger au resto se fait très bien. Par contre pour l’épicerie, il faut la voiture car au retour la pente est exigeante si on a des sacs.Les proprios sont très gentils. Anne et son époux nous ont accueillis et donné plusieurs conseils. Ce fut un plaisir de les connaître.Nous recommandons cette maison sans hésiter.

Great Holiday Home

We spent two marvelous weeks in Gardata-Artika.Very interesting architecture: A tiny old school house had been refurbished into a spacy and comfortable holiday home combining old and new structures in a very tasteful manner. Very clean.Fully equipped with high standard.Nice view into country side from the patio.Very calm and quiet.Very friendly and helpful landlords living next door and respecting guest privacy.Rent is definitely not cheap, but you get a lot for your money!Lekeitio is a very nice small city. Even though it is in walking distance the way back can get tiring (steep). It is advisable to park your car in the (gratis) parking lot at the city border. From there it is only a few minutes walk to harbor and beach.I'm usually not writing online ratings but this location really earns one!

Fantastic choice, so glad we came

Not that this place or its hosts need more positive reviews, but I’ll happily add my voice to the choir.The place is super comfortable, with everything you need to enjoy yourself indoors or on the terrace/garden, but the village is walkable too. Actually finding some nice hiking is just as walkable, leading to amazing viewpoints and forest paths. There are many places close by that are worth visiting, but staying around the apartment is very enjoyable too!We loved everything about our visit and hope to return!

Diese liebevoll und sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete alte Schule ist ein echtes Highlight. So eine klug ausgestattete Küche hatten wir in vielleicht 30 Ferienwohnungen noch nie! Das Haus ist geräumig, hat Orte um sich zurückzuziehen, zwei Badezimmer, zwei Sofas, viel Platz und alles was man sich wünschen kann. Der Empfang durch das norwegisch-baskische Paar ist warmherzig, die beiden sind sehr hilfsbereit und geben Tips und das Fischerdorf ist sher charmant. Ein echter Geheimtip!

Traumurlaub in einem ganz besonderen Haus

Wir haben die 14 Tage in der ehemaligen, toll restaurierten und hervorragend ausgestatteten Dorfschule genossen. Es war ein besonderes Erlebnis, sich in diesen großzügigen Räumen zu bewegen. Die Ausstattung in allen Bereichen war von sehr guter und geschmackvoller Qualität. Der Blick in die Landschaft aus den großen Fenstern und von der Terrasse aus auf die Hügel war idyllisch. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, da die Straße unterhalb kaum befahren wird. Die Vermieter, die nebenan wohnen, sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Was uns an der Gegend besonders gefallen hat, ist das Nebeneinander von Landschaften wie im Schwarzwald oder im Allgäu mit Häusern, die an die Alpenregion erinnern und der Steilküste mit Strandabschnitten am Atlantik. Berge und Meer an einem Ort.

We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. Memorable home in Basque Country

We travelled throughout France and Spain this trip and saw and did many memorable things but this is the place I’ll dream of coming back to.
