Large property with full kitchen and living room space. We loved everything there. Warning to anyone who doesn’t like hills. It’s very hilly where the property was. We were very pleased with this property!

The accommodation was great. Liked having the convenience of a kitchen. It is quiet for sleeping considering how close it is to some very busy areas. If you want to take the metro from the airport it is super convenient. The entrance is only a block away. However, the trick is to walk through the tunnels after you get off. If you want to do that, ask the hotel for directions for which tunnel exit. We got it wrong and carrying luggage up and down hills was not fun. It made going back to the airport very easy though.

Great location. Steps from shopping, restaurants, metro, Galata tower. Good response to any questions from the host, also helped with transportation to and from the airport. The unit was Spacious with 1.5 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Furniture could be upgraded as it’s worn and old but really the only negative.

My stay at Galateia residence in Istanbul was outstanding. I think it provides great value for the money and an excellent location close to Istiklal and Galata tower, with access to many stores, bars and restaurants. I liked a lot the amount of space, the details such as Netflix, the kitchen, the bathrooms and the balcony. I could have chosen a 5 star hotel, but I felt that this was a more authentic experience and a better location. I highly recommend it for those who want a more "personal experience" rather than the anonymous experience of a luxury hotel.

Die Lage ist absolut top und im meiner Meinung nach schönsten Viertel Istanbuls. Die Wohnung war sehr großzügig gestaltet und ausreichend ausgestattet. Manche Möbel- und Einrichtungsgegenstände wirkten optisch etwas hochwertiger als sie es dann in der Nutzung waren. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war jederzeit unkompliziert via WhatsApp möglich. Ich würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!

This apartment is in a wonderful location to access major touristic highlights and local culture, dining, shopping, art and city experience. Very walkable, safe, interesting neighborhood and the apartment overall is comfortable and delightful! An authentic Istanbul flat with a huge comfy bed, modern bathroom, and full kitchen access. We only took a taxi to and from the airport, otherwise everything we wanted to see in this area was fully walkable. Highly recommend for a couple!

The property pictures on Expedia website misrepresented the apartment we booked. We were led to believe that we were booking an apartment with full Bosporus views, but it looks like pictures from different apartments were listed under our booking and hence we did not get the full-Bosporus view property that we paid for. This was rather disappointing. Separately, the apartment showed its age. Paint was chipped off door frames, I like fixture in the bathroom was hanging broken, and the entire place need needs a facelift. Great and very friendly staff, but property felt slightly rundown; and what is more, we did not get the property we paid for on Expedia…

Returned yesterday after 4 night stay in deluxe 2 bedroom . Excellent communication from staff before and during stay . Staff very friendly and helpful . Excellent location but quiet . The hills not for the faint hearted but metro and funicular close . Small balcony waa a bonus could do with chairs just for balcony . Kitchen seemed well equipped only used in morning though lots of wardrobe space could do with more hangars . Beds very comfortable. Bathroom huge and there is a separate toilet . Was good choice travelling with teen and would use again . Thank you

Thought I had booked a room- it was an apartment, with bath tub! The standard was good, though some mold starting. It is also not completely soundproof, as I was woken by people upstairs every morning. Could not hear anything from the street though! The bed was comfortable and big! Even a walk in-closet. Did really enjoy my stay there, and do recommend!
