Excellent hotel would definitely consider staying again. Modern rooms, nice pool. Please note you have to wear a swimming hat in the pool at a cost of 50TL or you can’t use it. Other downside is the air con doesn’t work in winter so you get very hot in the room and have to use the windows to regulate the temperature, but it’s noisy outside when the window is open.

Good hotel with excellent location

Overall it was a good stay. I might visit the hotel again. The good: + Excellent location few minutes walking to Taksim square + friendly staff. Almost all the staff speaks English + rooms are spacious enough. + break fast is comparably good The bad: - the connected rooms are totally separated. Each room has its own door and there is another door that common to both and connects the rooms to the external space. We do not feel it is safe to leave our little kids alone I one room so we all slept in one room and used the other room for storage and bathing - we got towels with brown spots few times. I believe they are clean as they smell clean but it the hotel staff should not put such towels to guests. - the water should be free and the fridge should be filled daily. - swimming pool is very small - open hours of the swimming pool and the gym are 10:00 to 20:00. This does not make sense at all. The normal hours should be early morning and lately evening.

Arts Hotel Taksim - stay in August 2023

Great hotel in a fabulous location. Only comments are the breakfast could be better and the customer service should be slicker. The rooms are newly refurbished but there is sound transfer between rooms which is an issue that needs to be looked at. This is a 4 star city hotel but you would not really notice and i have stayed in 5 star hotels which have been worse. Disappointed that there were issues with the room i booked but this was resolved quickly. Would use this hotel again as close to taksim square and metro and easy to travel around the city. Big thank you to Furkhan, Kenan and Omar for all their help.

We had booked for 4 people. We were given Queen bed and a sofa bed. We did not get pillows all night despite asking multiple times. They kept saying 10 mins. WiFi is horrible you have to go downstairs to get the password. Busy elevators and bell boy don’t help you with luggage. Building is nice but no staff. Not to mention no Orion or iron board in the room

Avoid staying at this hotel. Although it claims to be a 4-star property, my family and I were treated as if we were in a 2-star establishment. I was deciding between this hotel and the Gonen Hotel, and unfortunately, I made the wrong choice. Here are the problems we encountered: - Upon arrival, our room was equipped with only a single bar of soap and some shampoo. We had to request additional items like a toothbrush, toothpaste, and flip-flops to avoid slipping after showers. - The hotel promises two complimentary bottles of water per day, but we never received any. - Despite requesting tissues, we haven’t received any after three nights. - Room service is unprofessional: they didn’t change the bed linens and washed the dishes without soap in front of us. Proper room service should involve more than just taking out the trash and providing fresh towels. - On our first day, we had only one bar of soap, and no replacement was provided when it was used up. - The bathroom lacks a fan, leading to excessive steam after showers. Additionally, it occasionally smells of smoke, despite being advertised as smoke-free. - We never received additional Nescafé or tea after running out. - The lobby and exterior areas are uncomfortably hot. - There is a club or hookah bar next door, making it impossible to sleep before 2 a.m. I am extremely disappointed and feel misled by this hotel. I doubt they will offer a refund for this poor experience, especially since I haven’t even seen a manager.

Yes, the outdoor music until 2:00 in the morning every night made it very difficult to sleep. The shower drain was clogged so that the water ran all over the bathroom floor. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.
