great location especially as its only a 10 minute walk from the havaist bus service 19 to taksim from the new Istanbul airport. you can easily get to other parts of Istanbul with the Metro station at taksim but just remember the metro and bus service shuts down at midnight. the hotel is in a great location, staff are friendly and helpful, sadly it needs a slight refurbishment as some of the finishes in the room were disappointing. a surprise to me was that the hotel has its own entrance on the 1st floor to the Irish pub, fantastic atmosphere with great views at night over the Bosphorus. mostly its locals who visit it and no tourists as the old entrance is boarded up and if you "weren't in the know" you would think its shut down.

Noisy and smelly room
We were visiting Turkey for 12 days and this was our hotel for last 4 days. Hotel location was very good , unfortunately there were some problems with this hotel/room. 1) Windows were not sealed properly and since it was right at the middle of center, it was way too noisy 2) Bathroom had bad smell and when we complained to manager he says just keep the bathroom window open. 3) At evening we were out of towels. When asked for towel, we were told that they are out of towel and they will provide in the morning. Beside that, hotel was in reasonable condition.

Gayet guzeldi, personel oldukca anlayisli. Internetle ilgili ufak bir sorun yasadik ve aninda ilgilendiler. Otelin konumu cok iyi, Taksim meydanina 2 dakika mesafede. Konaklama fiyati gayet uygun.

Great location and nice room
Location was great. View of the room was excellent. There were not noise and smoke. Room was very big. Breakfast was ok. But the most important thing we feel secure and we were only a few minutes to istiklat street and taksim metro station.

At first the staff were excellent and very friendly but we had a problem we changed rooms.
The first one was a little noisy bcz it was next to the road and even if we close the window still enters a lot of noise and the rooms electricity was off when we got back at night it was a failure they said.
So the next day we changed to a better room the other side of the hotel but still we had a huge problem it was infested with mosquitos i have killed around 20 mosquitos with the insect repellent which i bought and we didn't had a good sleep until the last day
In overall they need to fix these problems but the staff were great and the breakfast was good.
Hope next time you will compensate us with better rooms in a different hotel.
