"Large hotel in a central location. Easy access to the trams and a gentle walk to the main square - 15 mins max. Had a fantastic room overlooking the mausoleum, wasn’t bothered by tram or traffic noise, as other guests have commented -though it’s nice to hear a bustling city. Breakfast was typical Turkish fare, my husband was surprised to see soup, chips and chicken nuggets!! We had booked an executive room, which was a great size as we were in Istanbul for seven days. The executive lounge experience is underwhelming - the decor and furnishing is very dated akin to going into your “Grandmother’s” lounge. Also there is very limited food, we did go in for an early dinner about 17.30 but the gentleman in front of me spent most of his time picking all the beef from the food server - so vegetable stew left for everyone else. There were three small sandwiches about the size of one’s thumb for snacks, this was quite poor considering the extra paid was not a paltry amount. The lady who worked in there was lovely, very courteous and thoughtful remembered your drink of choice. The gentleman working there was the total opposite. Booked this hotel as there is no beach in Istanbul and like to have a swim after a long day walking. The, hammam, steam/sauna were ok. The pool was horrendous, black mould on walls and ceiling, overpowering smell of damp and mould. There were a few loungers at the top end of the pool, the lighting was dark and depressing, I imagine they were going"

"If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Istanbul, this is it! 🕌✨ The views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are unreal, the rooms are super modern (with amazing A/C!), and the free breakfast on the top floor overlooking the water is spectacular. But what really sets this place apart is the people. Everyone was so nice, especially Erkem from bell service. He was a absolute lifesaver, being incredibly helpful and even bringing me ice to help me heal after my hair surgery. 10/10 experience!"
