Welcome to our beautiful three bedroom, two bathroom cape cod style cabin! Whether you’re here to visit the wineries, go hiking in the gorges, or explore downtown Ithaca, our home is conveniently located - right between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes and just 10 minutes away from downtown Ithaca. The cabin is perfect for a family trip, a couples weekend, or a best friends’ getaway!

The Space

The home sits at the top of a hill on five beautiful acres of land. The entire house and yard is available to our guests including the outdoor firepit area, wrap-around porch with a huge deck, and plenty of parking space.

The inside is cozy and inviting with lots to do! Watch movies on our large screen Smart TV, enjoy some board games, or just lounge in front of the fireplace. The kitchen was recently updated, with new appliances. We also have basic cooking supplies, dinnerware and silverware, and teas and coffees.

The cabin can comfortably sleep six and can accommodate up to seven (on the couch that opens up).T wo bedrooms are located on the first floor, one with a queen bed and the other with a full size. Both have ample closet space and full length mirrors if you’re planning to make a longer trip. The bathroom on the first floor has a washer and dryer.

Upstairs, in the loft space, you’ll find the third bedroom, with a queen sized bedroom and lots of closet space. The loft also has an adorable reading nook and a desk and working space, perfect for your work from home (away from home) needs!

We also have an outdoor space. You’ll be able to grill a delicious meal and dine on the patio or head down to the yard and sit around the firepit. The lighted space will be perfect for gathering around the fireplace and spending time outside even after dark! The deck also has an awning to keep shaded and cool during the summer months.

The cabin is located about 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca - find food, bars, museums, and other exciting things to do. The Cayuga Lake Wine trail is just 15 minutes away; Seneca Lake Wine Trail is not far either! There are a number of hikes and beautiful waterfalls minutes away if you’re hoping to spend some time in nature. We’ve compiled a list of places to eat, drink, and visit for our guests.

Guest Access

You have access to the entire outdoor space, except the pond. Please do not go into the pond. Both sheds are also off limits.

Guests can park outside the garage and access the cabin using the smart lock at the front door.

Other Things to Note

Have a good time! We have a septic system, so please be mindful of what you put down the drain. Please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.

Perfect little spot

The property was super comfortable and clean and perfect for our group. We utilized the fire pit our back in the evening (which was already stocked with wood). I have never seen so many fireflies at one time in my entire life. It was close to Seneca and Cayuga lakes and all the wineries and breweries.

We loved the location of the cabin. Very close to many of the waterfalls including the Watkins Glen State Park. The cabin was perfect for 3 adults beacuse we each had our own bedroom. My teenage grandson enjoyed the loft area which also has a bathroom. It was like a mini apartment for him.

Great stay for a Cornell Law graduation. The cabin was very clean and super comfortable. Relaxing, and it was wonderful to look out at the rolling hills in the backyard. Homey, warm, inviting. Wish we could have stayed longer. We really loved it!

Cornell stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We were comfy and enjoyed the scenery. We were there for Cornell softball and due to rain schedule was changed to accommodate. We really didn't go outside much due to rain but that cannot be helped! Overall we were pleased with our stay. Not being familiar with the area the roads were a little different in the rain and fog but again, couldn't be helped. The rooms and kitchen and living room were all comfortable for our group. Would stay again!

Magical Winter Stay at a Cozy Cabin

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was absolutely magical! It snowed during our visit, transforming the property into a stunning winter wonderland. The cozy and well-appointed cabin was the perfect retreat for our family, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.The location was ideal—just a short 15-minute drive to downtown Ithaca, grocery stores, and nearby attractions like Buttermilk Falls State Park. We loved being so close to everything while still enjoying the peace and serenity of the cabin's private setting.The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living room with its fireplace was the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the area. We spent several days here while visiting with our family who live in the same neighborhood. The house was very comfortable and clean. It is also very conveniently located just minutes from downtown Ithaca, or any of several state parks. It's just a great getaway spot!

We loved this rental property. It was extremely clean and very spacious. The communication with the hosts was very easy and they provided a QR code with a guide for local things to do (very helpful). Overall nice property to stay. The kitchen/ livingroom area was very clean and functional for our family. The bathrooms were a bit tight for taller guests, though our 3yo loved the tub. We couldve used a few more kitchen towels and maybe check the door knobs to the first floor rooms? We kept getting stuck and needed some to help from the other side. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

Family weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was well stocked. We found the place very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, we were 10 to 15 minutes from everything we wanted to do. We had a few minor issues with things and the owner responded immediately. Problems were easily solved via text. We loved the firepit but were disappointed that the lights shown in the photos didnt work.

Perfect girls getaway

A few friends and I stayed here for a quick mid-winter visit and it was great! 10-20min from Ithaca and surrounding State Parks. The cabin was very cute and cozy. Everything was clean and there was plenty of amenities for us- utensils, pots/pans, coffeemaker, towels, etc. If it was warmer out we would’ve loved to make use of the nice porch and fire pit. We had a small issue checking in, but the host was punctual getting back to us to help. Great place to stay!
