“We had a delightful night away, all the staff were friendly and professional from arrival to departure. Great selection of drinks at the bar, good selection of food on the menu, clean and quirky bedroom and a quality breakfast. ”

“Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday.”

“The place is old, but not an issue. But the sheets weren't really clean and found a pubic hairs on my pillow. I slept in my day clothes. The facilities had free parking. I parked and asked reception during check in if that's the right place to park and they advice me yes. After return home from my business trip, I get a parking ticket from the hotel. I provided my receipts and prove I actually stayed there but yet they still insist to charge me with debt collection. Two night stay was……

“The place was ideally located.It was pet friendly and dogwalking areas within a 15min car drive, but only a car pk at the place.The room is similar to a "travelodge" and very clean.Staff are friendly and helpful.The Indian takeaway next door is both excellent value and delicious. Breakfast is continental buffet but can be eaten at the small eating area or taken to the room.I would definitely use this place again.”

“The rooms need at least an option of having more light. I get the theme for the hotel, but still - the lack of light in the room was deeply inconvenient. The most disappointing part was the pool area. When I visited in 2022, the pool setup was absolutely amazing for summer - cocktails in a very elegantly done Moroccan themed poolside. “Our room was lovely, clean and well maintained. The only quibble we had was that the £14 breakfast feels wasn't really worth the money. After asking for a second drink, we were told that we were only allowed one drink and would have to pay for the second drink and which we had to pay £3.50 when handing in our key and therefore we won't be staying at The Carrington Arms again!!”
