The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was close to transport links and we found the garden close by, was very beautiful. The accommodation was close to 2 supermarkets also which was handy. Upon arrival, the room we were given was very dusty but once we notified reception of this; they moved us to a new room entirely which was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and we found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable; perfect for a very good night's sleep.

Nice size room I was expecting a standard double bed so was surprised and pleased to find we had super king size bed…two divans connected together..There was an ironing board, iron and hairdryer. Nice large bath with overhead shower. Tea making facilities …..although would have been quite nice to have some biscuits ! Lounge area very nice classic style and dining room.We did decide to have breakfast on the day and were pleased with it. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Lovely garden area and free parking. It is within easy reach of the town. Would stay again if visiting the area.

Very professional staff, helpful, and eager to help. The place was on a main road but I couldn't hear any traffic noise. The rooms where clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden area. Only drawback was no air con in the rooms but we did have a fan which was adequate. I would recommend thos place to needing to stay in or around this area. If I need to be in the area again I would definitely use this hotel again. Thank you for the great time.

Staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. Outside seating, garden and bar are all attractive and comfortable, however the room we had was extremely dated with stained carpet and tatty furniture. The bathroom was a good size but the shower definitely needs updating. We were in a room on the ground floor and floors above us were extremely creaky and it was possible to hear everything that went on. Rooms are most definitely not 4 star quality and I I'd struggle to give them 3 stars. It's impossible to get a good night's sleep as although other guests were not particularly noisy, everything can be heard through the walls which gives no privacy
