We enjoyed this property during our stay in Jackson Hole. It’s location in Teton Village is very convenient to the Four Seasons where we frequently walked down to have a drink or visit the spa. There are also wonderful hiking trails just a short walk behind the house. There is also a little stream that we enjoyed listening to behind the house while we had wine on the back balcony. The house is closely surrounded by two other properties on either side, which detracted a bit from our experience as we had very loud and rowdy guests next to us. It was a bit uncomfortable and awkward to sit outside on the back balcony when there was 15 people on the next door balcony just a few feet away. Also, as is typically the case for the area, the house does not have air conditioning. I did not find this to be a problem, as we opened the windows at night and felt relatively comfortable; however, the opened windows did allow us to hear our neighbors late night parties even more.
The house in laid out nicely. Two bedrooms on the top floor. The family room and kitchen on the ground floor, and three bedrooms on the bottom floor. The house was clean and stocked well…especially with ample towels and blankets. The hot tub was nice and enjoyable, but can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms on the bottom floor.
I noticed an abundance of mouse traps set up throughout the home at the beginning of our stay. On our second to last day of our stay…two of us noticed a mouse scurrying around in the upstairs bedrooms. Later on that evening, we noticed a mouse in the family room as well. We obviously weren’t sure if this was the same mouse or if there was more than one. I reached out to the rental company and they promptly sent someone out to set more traps…but I have to admit…I didn’t sleep very well the last night for fear of mice scurrying around the house!
Other than the issues outlined above, we enjoyed the house and our stay very much.
