What can I say? We've never stayed at a place like this. Jackson Hole, being the playground of the rich, we had to find a place we could afford. This was it. But I genuinely felt like the Clampetts go to Karenville, and this place made that hit home. It felt as if the guests at the nearby ritzy hotels were looking down their noses at those of us who had to stay in the old rattletrap building. It's like it's a case study in barely getting by. Granted, we don't do hostels. But this was really interesting. Beds were less than soft. Bathroom tiny but usable. Sink outside the bathroom was nice. No TV in room. Game room was a hit though. If you're used to actual hotels, this will be a very different experience for you. Not bad per se, just different. We discovered Jackson Hole is not for us. And maybe that's for the best.
