"We loved the property. It’s a beautiful spot. Breakfast was delicious. The stocked pantry is a nice touch especially the cookies. The one down side was our visit to the Alpine bar. I think it was understaffed. The bartender was responsible for making all the drinks plus taking food orders. As a result we waited quite a while to put in a food order. The service was not very good because of these issues. I realize he was overworked but an apology for the wait time would have been nice."

"This is a beautiful boutique hotel/inn. The service was second to none. The restaurant had a creative menu and the food was delicious. You could order breakfast from the menu and it was part of the room rate valued at approximately $25. The grounds were well kept with a wonderful rural mountain feel. There is also a hot tub in every room."

"The property looked nice driving up but the interior needs to be updated. My room was on the 1st floor and the hallway floors were uneven and seem well worn. The room was ok, clean but a tiny TV and the pillows were not even standard size,more like throw pillows. Luckily,I always bring my own. The phone was old and there was a DVD player in the room, so yes some updates could help. I didn't realize the restaurant was going to be closed through the end of the year, so we had to leave to get dinner. I was looking forward to having dinner and a drink after arriving. The gym was clean with a good offering of equipment and the pool and jacuzzi looked nice. There was also an area with fire pits on the 1st floor that groups were sitting around. It wasn't a bad stay, just left me wanting a little more."
