Had a great time. House was great, great location and parking was easy with a large truck, full size van and a mid sized SUV. Only downside was accessing the beach was a challenge because of mobility issues. The elevator made the house very comfortable and accessible.

Great Location

The owner (Ted) is a gentleman and was highly responsive to several minor issues. The property was clean, well-appointed, and in the center of town, which for folks who enjoy walking about to eat and shop, it's perfect. Not many places in the Carolinas provide this type of location.

Amazing beach trip

The house was beautiful, with high ceilings and a gorgeous view. The mattresses stood out as probably the most comfortable I've had, especially for a beach house. The heated pool was perfect for our young kids. Location can not be beat for Surf City, plently of walkable activities. Ted, the owner, was an incredible host, very responsive, and truly cared about our stay. 100% recommend.

Our second year at this great property. Everything is as promised, and the pay-it-forward policy is very handy for arriving and nice to not have to trash good food and supplies when leaving. Convenient to most stores and eateries by walking, and the hosts are tops!

June in paradise

This is our second year staying at Topsail Beach in Ted Waltz property. We had our family and grandkids with us and had an absolute blast!! Am looking forward to booking for next year. Our Christmas "Home"

The property is exactly as listed and was perfect for hosting family for Christmas dinner and another family gathering after Christmas. The owner has updated the living room furniture, so it is even BETTER than pictured. Ted is super easy to work with and check-in is a breeze. We were fortunate with the weather and enjoyed watching dolphins and surfers during our stay. The location could not get any better. We would definitely recommend staying here!

An absolutely amazing property with an incredible location! We were so lucky to have found the perfect spot for our girls weekend! Owners made the process so seamless and were very attentive. Location, location, location! We were told everything was in walking distance and that is so true. We had 5 little ones in our unit and we didn't get in the car once! Loved everything about our stay! The unit was stocked with cooking utensils and kitchen ware to meet the needs of the 12 in our group. I would definitely stay again and recommend this property! The owner was super easy to work with and responded quickly.

This property is amazing! I cannot recommend this property enough. It is in the heart of Surf City, within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The pool was clean, quiet and a nice change. The beach is clean as well. The property itself is very well taken care of. And the beds are probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The owners were very easy to work with and even though we didn’t need to bug them, they were more than okay with us texting or calling for anything. This is a top notch location and property!

We came! We beached it! We arrived on a Saturday, did not get back in our car until the following Saturday! There was no need to go anywhere! This house was fabulous! The check-in process was so easy & flawless. The house had everything we needed & is walking distance to many great restaurants! The property owner called a few days before to give suggestions and recommendations & they did not disappoint! The beach was incredible! The 1 pm check-in was great. We are definitely coming back!
