So Glad we found this place

The home was just what we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Cathy was great to work with & the check in/out process was a breeze. The pictures don't do the place justice as it's a really nice quiet respite from the "busy-ness" of everyday life... would definitely stay there again!

Peaceful - Perfect for our Stay

We are visiting family in the area and spending most of the day with them but wanted a quiet place to retreat to in the evening. The location, amenities, communication with owner, and comfort of this Cottage makes it perfect for our needs. We have stayed a few times previously, and plan to stay again. Cozy Cottage in the Heart of Jacksonville

Came into town to celebrate my ailing brother's birthday. The cottage was perfect for my husband and two fur babies. The fire pit and fireplace added a nice touch as did the walk in shower and the BD was so comfortable. Cathy was a most gracious host and we will definitely be back.

Perfect little cottage!

Cathy was such a gracious host and extremely accommodating. Her cottage is so cute and exactly as described. Located on lots of land with an adorable pond out front complete with a set of ducks! We stayed here during our move and she allowed us a spot to park our uhaul. A great place and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property

We enjoyed spending a weekend tucked away from civilization in a cozy cottage on what felt like a sprawling estate. We saw other people as well as dogs & ducks on the property, but no one disturbed our peace. Thank you for offering a comfortable home with a step-free entrance that worked well for my husband, who is a wheelchair user. There were a couple of minor housekeeping oversights, but we were very pleased overall & would definitely stay again.

Pristine with everything you need and more

Private home on owners beautiful and serene property. Includes a private fire pit and gas grill in the back. I hated not being able to stay longer but I only needed a place to stay one night that permitted a dog. The hosts could not have been kinder or more accommodating.

Amazing!

The Virginia County Cottage is perfect. My husband, 10 month old son, pup, and I had a great stay. It was everything we needed and more. While pulling on to the property, we had instant smiles. It’s a gorgeous home on a gorgeous piece of property. If we are in the area again, we will most definitely be staying here again. Perfect spot for us!

Virginia’s Country Cottage is beautiful, clean, & close to our family that we went to visit. Cathy was so kind, gracious, and attentive! The property was quiet & peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit and private backyard area, and got to see some deer, a fox, and some other wildlife. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could have needed and so cozy. I would highly recommend this property! :)

Amazing

Simply amazing. The hosts, Cathy and Mike, are amazing people! The property is located on a great piece of land, giving you the feeling of freedom while being close enough to shop for necessities. Very clean, very comfortable, great amenities. The home has everything you need, toaster, full kitchen of utensils, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker, full size refrigerator, washer, and dryer. The size was perfect for my son and I to stay for a month as we prepared to move to Virginia.
