「Property was exactly as it was advertised. Can tell that it had recently been renovated and inside was very comfortable. One of the reasons we went with this property was because it was dog friendly. With all the remodeling being done, there was a bunch of building material in the backyard, and we had to make sure the dog wasn't getting into anything it shouldn't. All in all, the house was perfect for what we needed for one night.」

「The house was great alternative to a hotel because we have 2 miniature dachshunds and we enjoyed being able to be so close to downtown, take them into the yard, not worry about the occassional bark, etc. The house was neat, clean and the process was extremely easy. These old, historic houses are interesting because they are "old", but that adds to the charm. We were very happy with our stay and recommend this property and April to anyone visiting New Bern. Truth be told, our host goes above and beyond with the home. We had far more than needed for our stay. The home is conveniently located and very quiet. 「First, I have to say that all communications with Jonathan were excellent. No matter what question I had was immediately answered. The house was as described, very clean and had everything needed for a relaxed stay.Boating, don't expect to bring your own boat as the marsh is very shallow. There is a tandem kayak there but I brought my own kayak with us and it was great, spent a lot of time on the water.Overall it was a great relaxing trip but if you want a busy area with night life this is not...
