Great place

Short stay for a bird hunt in Croatan National Forest. Place was great. Hot tub felt great after long day. Very clean, had everything we needed and a lot that we didn’t!! 10/10

Great Family Vacation

Great place for stay that offers many things for all family members. Kids enjoyed pool, swings, and trampoline while teens enjoyed playing outdoor activities. Adults could enjoy themselves while relaxing outside and home offered plenty of space for all. Made great memories and within driving distance to many Beaches and points of interest.

Weekend getaway with family

Winter can lead to cases of cabin fever ! We stayed at Jon and Misty's property for the weekend with some family to gove everyone a chance to get out of the house for a bit. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Cool nights watmed by a nice fure in the fire pit and a soak in th hottub under the stars.

Awesome Surprise 40th Birthday

The kids and I decided to surprise my hubby/their dad with a 40th bday get away. We had family & friends come and surprise him to help make our stay extra special. We loved our stay. Some things can use some updating and deep cleaning, but overall a great stay.

NC Getaway

We completely loved our stay!! We were looking for a quiet spot to relax for a few days with our two black labs in warm weather (we live in VT). The location turned out to be perfect. Quiet end of road location with a large backyard perfect for playing fetch. We loved sitting on the covered porch soaking in the warmth and listening to birds singing, The interior of the property was ideal for our purposes - we were especially impressed with the kitchen space, which made meal prep a breeze.We would highly recommend this property!!Ray and Debbie

Cozy and Lovely home

My family loved it! We had a good time and Jonathan was always attentive to anything. 100% recommend it ! Everything was clean exactly as the pictures. I would definitely love to come come back

Great little place

The host was great and over accommodating for us.. I need to give him a special shout out for that. We appreciate it. I would definitely recommend this house to others. Myself and my friends enjoyed the evening after a long day on the motorcycles.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

This property and stay was great before we even arrived. The host was super communicative and informed us of every expectation and pertinent information before we even arrived. Our party was super impressed upon arrival. The house is beautiful, with the perfect mix of homey and luxurious. The hottub was an added bonus, one we utilized right away! The toys were welcome with open arms for a very energetic 3 year old in tow. We wish we were able to stay more than 1 night, but plan on coming back and visiting longer soon!

Great place to unwind

This charming ranch has all you need to relax. Hot tub, pool and quiet. The house has a pool table and lots of room for all. The beds were comfortable and the house well taken care of. My interacts via text were answered promptly. My husband did find the pond disappointing but it did not stop us from enjoying our stay. We would book again.

Marine Corps Retirement & Sweet 16

We stayed after attending a birthday party for nephew turning 16 last December. This year our daughter turns 16 in December as well as my husband retiring after 25 years in the marine Corps. We decided this was the ideal location to host a large group of family and friends for both parties. Again, 2 years in a row with no issues and TONS of fun for folks of all ages!!!

A piece of heaven

We truly enjoyed the house ans the property. The kids loved the pool and hot tub! Lots of room for dogs to run! Went to emerald isle beaxh twice. About 30 min away. Only downside was flies which is beyond everyones control! Just the time of year! We did not use pond or boat as it was pretty muddy! Thanks for the goodies and was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen with appliances etc. Thank you so muxh!!

Like home

We used to live in New Bern North Carolina. So when we went looking for a home to stay in it was really important to us that the home met all of our needs. The home needed to sleep our large family comfortably, needed to be close to the beaches, private, relaxing and something we would look forward to coming back to. The home was all of that and then some! It checked everything off of our list. When we would finish up our day it was a lovely home to come back to. There were days that we didn't even leave the house because it was so comfortable and felt like home. If we had the chance to book again, we would! Thank you for welcoming us into your home and allowing us to make memories that'll last a lifetime. The reason we gave the 4 star for online listing is because of the pond, in the pictures the pond seemed nicer/bigger. Other than that, it was amazing!

We had a fabulous visit and loved the special touches…..coffee creamers, snacks, toiletries, nice cookware, spices and pretty much everything you’d need in the kitchen! Check in was seamless and owners were attentive and accommodating. Would definitely go back for another stay :)) .

Recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with family

We had a wonderful stay at the Jacksonville Ranch. The check-in process was smooth, and the home was clean and well-maintained. We visited the area to see our Marine and appreciated having such a peaceful place to gather as a family. The private hot tub, pool, and pool table provided plenty of fun and relaxation for all of us. The privacy of the property made it feel like a true retreat. Great place for military families

We stayed here because it is close to the military base. Our grandson was graduating flight training. Everything was great, could not have asked for anything better. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much for the use of your place.
