Little Slice of Paradise

We loved this condo and Tres Regalos generally. The condo is on the fourth floor with a view of the sunset and the "jungle" to the north. We sat on the balcony each evening with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. Jaco is a busy and growing place but when you are on the balcony you would have to idea that Jaco is so close, fairly easy walking distance if you avoid the heat of midday. The apartment is as described, very comfortable and well-stocked for a long stay such as ours (1 month). The neighbours that we met at the pool (mainly snowbirds) were a congenial bunch who were always willing to share tips on places to eat, to shop and to visit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beachfront condo in Jaco, Costa Rica, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Fantastic stay

Wonderful place in a great location

We stayed in this condo for 9 nights in March 2024. It is spacious and very comfortable. The place has everything you need. It's located in a nice gated community, which feels safe. and the place is right on the beach and comes with a pool. We enjoyed our stay there.

We love this place.

We have stayed in this condo two different trips. Both times have been wonderful. Doug is an excellent host. The condo has always been clean and well maintained. Checking in is a breeze, the gate house is always aware of your arrival and checking out is as easy as dropping the keys at the gate house. You have all the conveniences of home, in paradise!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we very much enjoyed our stay. We shopped in town a few days and taxis were the way to go! Our second day walking the beach we spotted 2 Macaws and on our last day, a group of four and a pair of Macaws circled around our lanai 😃 Definitely would come back to this beautiful place!

Great experience

We had an amazing time at the condo, everything was as mentioned plus more. It was so nice having the beach so close and a full equipped kitchen. The security staff was very helpful and kind. We have a special needs kiddo and everyone was very understanding and the condo worked out perfect for our girls.

Just as advertised!

Great location, very clean, always felt secure. The condo was in excellent shape and as shown in the pics. Doug was super to stay in touch when I had a couple of questions and he checked in on us during our stay to make sure we were doing great.

Amazing place to stay in Jaco

We had a wonderful trip to Costa Rica and this beautiful condo was one of the main reasons. The balcony overlooking the beach had a great view of the ocean, the sunset, and the forest as the pictures show. The Condo complex was very safe and had a great pool which we took advantage of every day. This unit was well maintained and had everything we needed, including lots of towels and an in unit washer and dryer. We rented a car and it was a very short drive to town and easy to get to adventures beyond. Doug was a great and welcoming host and the on-site condo staff was very helpful. We saw monkeys, sloths and parrots when exploring a few minutes walk from the Condo. We had a great time and highly recommend this Condo!

A beautiful, quiet and clean location!

The condo was the perfect size and had pretty much everything you needed. The owner, Doug, is very responsive and very kind. It is a beautiful location that is on the quieter side of town which is very nice. Crocs is right next-door and they have pice music on Friday and Sat nights which is very cool to hear! The condo has beach chairs and an umbrella which is very nice to have. Bring your own shower toiletries and laundry detergent.

Great stay in Jáco

This is a fantastic property if you want to explore the region of Jáco. It is about 90 minutes from Quepos/Manuel Antonio National Park and San Juan airport. The condo was perfect for my husband and I, and could have accommodated 2 more guests. The kitchen has everything you need as far as I saw but we didn’t really cook any meals there, and the balcony was fantastic, overlooking the pool area and ocean. The bed was a little stiff for my husbands liking but ok for mine. Very nice accommodations and we felt very safe - gated community to enter/exit and 24 hr security on the back side where the pool/ocean are. Beautiful views of mountains and ocean. There are a few restaurants very close (Mangalar, Bohimios, Soda la Raquel and Soda la China - go here for an amazing authentic Costa Rican breakfast! Tres Regalos also sits directly next door to the large Crocs resort). Downtown is walkable but we had a rental car and typically drove (the walk would be approx. a mile). However, just walk the beach and there is a great ocean front restaurant that’s very walkable as well! (Clarita’s). Bring your own (or buy) soap, shampoo/conditioner. The owner, Doug, is excellent in communication and quickly answering any questions! We truly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend.

Wonderful Girls’ Trip

This was our second trip to Jaco. We stayed at the same rental as before. Communication with Doug, the property owner, was excellent. The condo and property is very well maintained and the security personnel made 4 women feel very safe.

Loved every minute!

Our family of 3 rented this condo for 11 days over the Christmas/New Year break. The condo, as well as the entire property, are immaculate and the staff is lovely. The pool area was so enjoyable. We spent hours watching the beach activity and cooling off in the uncrowded pool. The view from the balcony is incredible. The sunsets!!! There are two pairs of resident macaws that live on the nearby hill. They frequently fly by, and if you pay attention, you can watch them eating in nearby trees. I really enjoyed them. The condo was perfect for us. It has everything you need from kitchen utensils to beach umbrellas and chairs. All of the furniture is comfortable. Doug, the owner, was remarkably fast and helpful the couple times I needed questions answered. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it!

Christmas in Jaco

Doug was very responsive to all communications and concerns regarding airport pickup and setting up pickup to the airport on the day we left. The property/condo was even nicer that expected. Views of the ocean from the balcony were fantastic. Beach was right there--beautiful sunsets. The staff was nice and friendly. Felt more "homey" than the all-inclusives in the area. Preferred the environment we got to enjoy. You can get a day pass for the casino next door if you want--but recommend staying in the condo we were in.

Beautiful clean condo

Beautiful condo. Far enough away from downtown you don't hear traffic all day and night. Very secure. Pool was nice. Quiet complex. We're able to see a bunch of birds coming by. All the food close by is excellent. The only downside wasnt with the condo, Crocs is next door and plays loud music all day.

Excellent Experience

This property was perfect for our family of 4 and it was everything we expected and more! Doug is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Doug also arranged our transportation to and from the airport and the driver stopped at a nice supermarket on our way in so we could pick up essentials. The staff at the condo was friendly and helpful even with my broken Spanish. The location was great, on the north end, but an easy walk to a few restaurants and a $2 cab ride to the center of town. The condo itself was well equipped for our week stay, clean and safe. The view from the balcony was fabulous as we enjoyed our breakfast out there each morning. The Casino/Resort next door is very convenient for dinner and drinks, or Clarita’s is a short walk down the beach! There were horses available right outside the property to a ride on the beach or to the jungle area beside the condo. I highly recommend this property!

Winter break

Doug was a super host. He arranged transportation from and to the airport for us. He was very quick to respond to any issues and his property was very comfortable. We were a little dismayed at first because we couldn't find anyone who could understand English at all. Their translator tools weren't working and we had problems with the safe. The next day though, Doug was able to get the manager to come by and it just needed new batteries! The rain forest was easy to get to as long as you went during low tide! Got some great pictures! Unfortunately, the casino next door was closed - I think due to covid. We really enjoyed the small community feel around the pool. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The gate guards were able to get us taxis any time we needed - very inexpensive way to get around Jaco!

Great view, location and responsive host. Peaceful listening to waves on balcony. I would just like basics like salt, pepper, dish soap, to be available. I know some have and some condos don’t but I like when these are present. But great condo and awesome sunsets.
