Very conveniently located to downtown Jaco. Service was 5 stars. Cold ac. Rooms are bare minimum no refrigerator or coffee pot. Beds were uncomfortable and only a light sheet no comforter..

Very basic hotel about 20 minute walk into town of Jaco. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning, large balcony, good shower. But only cold water tap in the sink (shower had hot water), no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or hair dryer. No coffee maker. Very old style safe with a key for rent for $3 US per day, with caution that if you lose the key, could take 2-3 days to get someone to open it. We chose not to use it. Felt safe. Refrigerators could be rented but discouraged due to humidity and one was not readily available. No hand towels of washcloths, just 2 towels per person and not allowed to take them off the property. Description on Expedia said bicycle rentals available but I do not think so. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel and restaurant are clean. Pool loungers are old but pool was nice with some shady areas. Seemed like a safe, quiet area.

Quiet and clean, walking distance to most things.

Clean and quiet, big room, older hotel but fairly well maintained. On the downside, hot water is solar, after dark no hot water, $5 per cup for morning coffee and only available Sat and Sun, “restaurant “ is very minimal in what and when they serve. No vending machines or ice machines. Nice beach is a very short walk.

De kamer was prima, maar er lagen wel her en der muizenkeutels en je hoorde veel getrippel ‘s nachts over het dak en door de kamer heen, wat mij doet vermoeden dat er muizen of hagedissen rondscharrelen. ‘s Ochtends weinig kans op uitslapen want om 6:30 op een zaterdag wordt er twee uur lang geharkt op het grind. Het ontbijt was vrij prijzig voor wat je er voor terugkrijgt. De locatie was echter super! Vlak aan het strand en het zwembad is wat klein en ondiep maar wel goed onderhouden.

Horrible experiencia en Pochote Grande.

Lamentablemente no me pude comunicar con el hotel ni con Hoteles.com antes de mi check in para cancelar. Por lo que decidimos ir por la primera noche ya que llegamos pasados las 22hrs luego de un largo día en vehículo para cruzar de Puerto viejo a Jaco. Cero en vialidad CR. Ya en la Habitación menos que limpia con olor a humedad, rancio con cucarachas, sabanas rotas y colchón viejo con resortes sobresalientes además ducha con hongos. Al día siguiente fuimos a cancelar la estadía por todo lo anterior ante lo cual el administrador/cocinero/barman (Cristian) nos puso en contacto la dueña con la dueña (sra alemana tb) quien nos dijo que debíamos pagar 100usd más para retirarnos. Frente a lo cual cedimos al sentirnos intimidados por este señor y en el afán de no estropear nuestras vacaciones con un momento como ese. Al día de hoy luego de decenas de intentos no hemos logrado una respuesta de hoteles.com pese a haber ingresado el requerimiento y hablado con operadora que me llamarían de vuelta para resolver todos los inconvenientes.
