If you are looking for a slice of heaven than this is the place

The pictures that are on the VRBO website are completely accurate. We were greeted with such friendliness by both Michelle and David and that care lasted for our entire stay. The views from the pool are incredible…we spent many hours in the pool enjoying those views of the Pacific as well as enjoying all the wildlife. The unit is very well laid out f with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a bbq…which we used most nights. We took a taxi fro SHo airport right to our home in the sky, but rented a car in Jaco for a few days of sightseeing etc. if you are renting a car we strongly suggest 4wd as the drive up the mountain can be a bit challenging.Anyone who rents this unit will not be disappointed

A piece of heaven is absolutely correct!

Michelle and David's place in Jaco is named Pedazo de Cielo, and it is an apt description. We were a family traveling with a toddler and infant, and our stay was absolutely perfect! The house's location provides breathtaking views that you can enioy from a pristine pool. In addition to the views, we caught sight of beautiful birds and monkeys frolicking in the nearby trees and patio. The house itself was imaculate and beautifully furnished. We immediately felt right at home. Contributing sizeably to this was Michelle and David's hospitality! They provided such a warm greeting to us and ensured we had what we needed throughout our stay. As one of several examples, when we told them we were going to the beach one day, they offered and put out beach tables, umbrellas, and chairs near our car so we'd have everything we needed! They also alerted us to when we could see wildlife (i.e. monkeys) from the house--much to the delight of our daughter. In short, you cannot find a more perfect place to stay and set of hosts. Outstanding stay!

We stayed three nights at the villa in July. Our family truly loved every minute. The photos are accurate .. view from the pool in the mornings was spectacular. Michele and David were great hosts. They made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit! Highly recommend!

Amazing!

House is unreal wit an even better view. Hosts were more than hospitable helped us with anything and everything we needed. Road to get to house was the worst part but once we made it up it’s so worth it. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic getaway

A Slice of Paradise

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! And David & Michelle are wonderful. They were helpful in every way. What a privilege it was to get to know them and for them to share their amazing property with us. We so enjoyed the unbeatable views while relaxing in the infinity pool, being entertained by the monkeys, watching the scarlet macaws and toucans fly in & out, the massages that Michelle lined up for us and just the overall peacefulness we felt while being there.

Heaven above Jaco

David and Michelle’s home high on the mountain - overlooking the ocean and mountains - is so breath taking - pictures hardly capture its beauty and tranquility. Both are gracious hosts and you feel as though you are a part of their family from the first hug hello. The house is so beautiful and is graciously appointed with any and everything you need. The pool and outside living area is an oasis - not giving you much reason to leave. But, there are great beaches and tasty food close by so ventures off the mountain are equally rewarding. We also did a local waterfall hike which we loved. Bottom line - this is a rental experience not to be missed. You will fall in love with the home, the owners and the experience. We will be coming back!

Slice of heaven

We came to Jaco to check out the town as a potential place to live. Little did we know, we would meet such wonderful hotsts, David and Michelle! Their house and accommodations are just wonderful. The beds are super comfy, you have all the necessities if you chose not to leave the property, its truly hard to leave. David and Michelle are worth their weight in gold as far as kindness and information go. We have made friends for life. The view cant be beat, as well as all the forest animals and birds.

This is a beautiful home located on a mountain top overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The view is gorgeous and it has a wonderful infinity pool. While relaxing in the pool or just sitting enjoying the scenery you will see toucans, buzzards, Macaw’s, Cara Cara Eagles and white face capuchin monkeys. It was just so beautiful and relaxing we didn’t want to leave. The hosts Michelle and David were so gracious and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely return.

Christmas in Jaco

Michelle was proactive with us and helped us so much along the way, and answered our many questions giving advice about things to do, places to eat, massage recommendations, and so much more! David and Michelle’s home was wonderful and so peaceful and just what our busy lives needed, where we had tranquility, a beautiful view, could see wildlife, and so much more. We enjoyed our stay so much and if we ever came again to Costa Rica we would stay there again! They are wonderful hosts and their home does not disappoint. We loved our Christmas in this amazing country.

Incredible views

The property is absolutely gorgeous, the hosts are wonderful. It was a bit difficult to get to and I would highly recommend a 4x4. The views for sure made it worth it. One of our the air conditioners did not work and a repair man was unable to come out, but the hosts did everything in their power to ensure our comfort. Overall a good experience, we would go back to visit for sure.

30th Wedding Anniversary

This was our first time leaving the US and it was the perfect place for us to land to really get away and relax without the stressers that can come with being in unfamiliar territory. The hosts were incredibly helpful and hospitable in every way possible for our first time out! We could not be more grateful for the information and available help that they provided us. The location was fun to get to and the prize was phenomenal! That view from the rooms and pool deck were nothing short of 5+ stars! Michelle and David are a true delight - each of them. In a place so far away from home, we still felt right at home and luxurious at the same time. After 5 days back at our own home we were both wishing we could be back there. We hope to get to stay there again soon and - next time - longer. We were actually hesitant to give our honest rave review because we selfishly want it available to us! Michelle and David were excellent hosts! The space they provided was far beyond our expectations - even with the beautiful photos. They exude the meaning of Pura Vida!

Vacation getaway

This place is simply amazing!! The pictures do not truly show the breathtaking beauty of this home. We traveled with another couple & we have already discussed a return visit - the home was extremely clean - wifi was not spotty, ac is a plus - everything you needed is available -if not just ask — Michelle/David are more than flexible the road is tricky & definitely recommend a 4x4 - bring sneakers as you can walk the “road” & the views are worth it - Jaco is a laid back town - you dont need fancy clothes- Michelle & David went over & beyond in making our stay one of the most memorable trips ever - they are in the same property but you would NEVER know - michelle does have info on a taxi service, private chef, masseuse - which we personally used - if you are looking to do nothing but relax & take a break from real life - this is the place to be - out of 8 days - we left once & that is because we needed groceries — i highly recommend staying here - you will not be disappointed - five star +++++++ rating from the 4 of us..

Paradise in the Jungle

Michelle and David thank you so much for one of the best times in our lives. Your home has the perfect name and is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and clean inside and out with lushly landscaped grounds. Although we did have a few issues with several of the amenities during our visit, the hosts addressed them and made us feel a sense of calmness, love and privacy. We really enjoyed our day trip to the National Park @ Manuel Antonio with our guide Frank. The beach at Hermosa is perfect for for catching the surfers and doing some body boarding. One of our highlights was personal Chef Emerson who prepared a delicious traditional Costa Rican dinner for us. Much gratitude for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise. We will be back for some more Pura Vida!

Exceptional Location, Facilities and Hosts

Cannot say enough about this property as it has a fantastic view of the ocean and forest. We ventured out daily to take various tours and always looked forward to returning mid afternoon to enjoy the pool and lounge area. David and Michelle were exceptional hosts and we enjoyed spending time with them. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Paradise on earth

This was an absolutely magical visit. The views were spectacular, accommodations top-rate, and David and Michelle are such wonderful, lovely, and helpful hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the surrounding wildlife and daily morning walks on the mountain. David and Michelle made us feel right at home.
