“Lovely newly renovated property on a pond with access to SUPs, kayaks, etc. easy drive to tanglewood. Smallish room/bathroom but perfect for our girls weekend stay. Keurig and fridge in room were a welcome bonus!”

“Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice.”

“This Econolodge has an excellent location. For a very reasonable price, you are close to all the culture of Lenox and the rest of the Berkshires and you have Lake Laurel and October Mountain a short distance away. It's on a main road, so it's very easy to get where you're going, but traffic at night is minimal, so it's easy to get a peaceful rest. The basic amenities are very good: reliable wifi, tv with many cable channels, and a continental breakfast. It's not luxurious, but it's a great……

“Room smelled awful and the blanket was so dated. We ended up driving home 1 1/2 hours rather than stay the night. Very sleazy.”

“Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. The grounds are so beautiful . There were a number of lovely places inside and out for sitting and relaxing. We loved the welcome drink and a bottle of wine ( choice of red or white) to have in our room. We enjoyed it on our balcony with its lovely views of the main house and the yard. Unfortunately we couldn’t attend the cognac tasting as we were busy. I would love to come to the Cornell again-and again!”

“I usually stay here and yes staff are nice and rooms are decent but I’ve seen a decline in amenities. Maybe the expense of things - bathrobe in room, water and snacks were what I was used to seeing .in the room.”

“This has been a long time stop for us. It has always been a perfect location. The hotel is right at the base of Monument Mountain and it is truly breathtaking to see it out your window.”

“Great location! walk downtown shops and restaurants . Could walk a mile to tanglewood if feeling brave. I did not but others staying at hotel did to avoid concert traffic. The inn keeper seemed a bit overwhelmed and perhaps not enough staff to turn over the inn for arriving guests . He was in communication with me and trying his best. Bed was comfortable but nothing really stood out about the appearance of interior. Looks like they are trying to improve and grow the inn with an addition of a……

“My stay was great. There were a couple of problems with my room which were quickly fixed. Steve who is one of the front desk clerks is wonderful. He went above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee just needs to be a little stronger...”
